What emblem fits this grill?

Welp..that explains it. That's some important news, so thanks. So basically it's says you're screwed if you even if you are just trying replace a damaged grille. It seems all grilles are made this way now, and you will need the new emblem. F-THAT. I'm just gonna return mine, get some plasti dip and call it a day. Maybe one day I'll splurge for it, but it won't be anytime soon.

Sparks Parts mentions nothing of the sort and is still stating to just "swap" over your existing TSS emblem. Hopefully they take this back with paid shipping and offer some other discounts for the headache it caused me..

A little late to the party.

 

THERE HAVE BEEN CHANGES MADE TO THE LIMITED AND 1794 GRILLES. The emblem being used on the current 2018+ models will NOT swap over to the Limited/1794 grille. The Land Cruiser emblem also will not fit this grille. If you are swapping to this grille, you will need part number 90975-02159 as well.

Here are the 2 emblems side by side. Like I said they appear to attach similar, but they are very different and not compatible. So here is the money breakdown list.

$350 colormatched MGM platinum grille
$215 for color matched hood bulge
$300 for 2020 emblem

Sparks Parts is pathetic. You cannot call them, they only deal with text. Fast shipping, but thats about it. Texting them today about the whole ordeal was pointless, and they made me out to be incompetent, just as predicted. They actually just stopped responding, and I have the whole text log to prove it. Not once, but they ignored me 3 times. I had to initiate 3 seperate text conversations on their website.. I don't know why so many YouTubers push them. They are straight garbage.

 

Any of you guys be willing to sell your 2019 emblems? Shoot me a pm if so

 

Good info and sucks about the customer service and having to buy another emblem. I will find out about my new grill tomorrow.

 

My grill showed up today from @Roman with Cool Springs and it is the correct one for my 19 limited. It looks so good in-person. I also got color matched door handles, mirror caps and a black exhaust tip.

 

Are you still able to return your emblem? I have my 2020 emblem on my original SR5 chrome grille. I imagine it would fit yours right?

 

I'm sure I can, but at this time, I'm at peace...

So is the difference in emblem between 18+ 1794/limited grilles and 18+ platinum/sport/SR5 grilles?

or does this affect 20+ limited and 1794 only?

 

I believe it's just the 2020 grills that are different. This is why some people with 18 and 19's are running into problems when replacing their grills, now if all the 2020's are the same or just certain trim levels I am not sure. Maybe @Roman can chime in?

Have you tried to fit the emblem on your new colored match grille yet? I have a 2019 Limited, I bought the new colored match grille and mine will not transfer over.

 

I have not but I looked at mine and it is the same set up as the new grill.

 

I wish my Limited turned out that way.
My 2019 will not swap over. The emblem on mine wouldn't fit on your new grille.
I sure hope someone who upgraded their grille doesn't cost them more after the fact.
