What's up fellas, auxiliary ?. When people put billstein 61? Or 51? That means they haven't done a 6 inch plus full lift right? The billstein are shocks or coilovers that lift the truck and keep it stock ??

@Bprose no I didn't install the tank myself. Cost was around $280.00, to install. Installer was on the transfer flow authorized list and local too.
Yep, all sensors and sending units work like original. Miles to empty is off, but this frequently is off anyway and I don't care.

@aramirez73 , the threads about how the MTE aren't accurate, abound. Just like we all know how the tank has 4 to 6 gallons left even when the gauge says empty. I know I have 46 gallons and get about 14 mpg. So I fill up after around 500 miles and always before 550. Not really rocket science and I'm not complaining! I'm comfortable knowing I can go to 600 miles in a pinch, but why bother?

Does the fuel guage not work either with the transfer flow? Or do folks just not use those anymore.

@Bprose @PermaFrostTRD , the fuel gauge, when installed in the transfer flow tank, works exactly like it did on the factory fuel tank.
The Toyota fuel gauge is designed to show empty when there is actually 4 to 6 gallons remaining. I have read several different reasons for why Toyota did this. I don't know why but it's the way it is.
Some fuel may be required to keep the submerged pump cooled, is the most plausible explanation.
    Hope this helps.

If I were you I would establish what functionality NEEDS to be modified. If you do not need larger tires or more ground clearance all you are doing is paying for more rubber. Unless you are trying level/lift purely for looks. that is a different story. Functional top 5 mods in in my opinion are below.

    upgraded head light bulbs (led)
    upgraded fog bulbs (led)
    Aux reverse/area lighting
husky liner or weather tech mats - if it fits you're needs.

Can someone tell me about the “Retro Headlight” mod, which ones did you use, Did you do tail lights as well. Thank you. Also, I’m seriously mechanically challenged ( I hate admitting that ) so I’d be looking for someone to install these?

    Mine's a daily driver/work/play truck.

Sometimes work is up to 300 miles away.
Said work requires hauling 300-500lbs of tools/ materials. The following reflects that.

    1. 46g Transfer Flo tank
    2. Firestone air bags
    3. Arb bull bar
    4. 5100's (8112's soon)
    5. 37's

A re-gear should be in there somewhere but somehow I manage 11.3mpg @75mph(gps)

    So far I would say:
    • Nerf side step
    • BA 10” muffler (Dirty Deeds)
    • Bed liner
    • Footwell lighting
    • Puddle lights
I have a feeling though this list may change

I’m certainly not at the top of the pile in Tundra mods but I have quite a few at this point :) It just depends on what your looking to accomplish.
