The Salesman I deal with shot me a text. I've bought 3 Toyota's from him and have placed a deposit for a Tundra Pro so he keeps me in the loop. I'm also talking to another dealer just because Pro's can be tough to get.

I'm getting one. I'm getting stupid money for a trade on my 2016 SR5 Crewmax. I got a VIN on a 2022 and should be built on 12/9

So I have requests with 3 different dealerships for the TRD PRO once news comes out. I am pretty sure I will not hear back unless I walk in and make a deposit. I am eagerly awaiting final details on pricing, mpg on PRO to decide if I will just bag it and look at 2014-2019 instead… I drive 100 miles daily and the main reason I sold my 14 platinum a few years ago in the first place…

Any trim with the iforce max. If we're getting torn a new one, get the most powerful motor.

Initially I was all for the hybrid, but eventually soured on it after more info was released. Old tech, lose storage, mpg gain probably isn't worth the increased cost unless you drive a ton (I don't), lower tow capacity, etc. Yes, it's more power, but you give up a lot to get there.

I’ll wait a year or two. I’ll be getting the Hybrid in either Platinum or 1794. I’m thinking white but I may change my mind.
I’m betting on the fact chip shortages get behind us and I won’t have to pay MSRP. That would just piss me off since I’ve never had to do that on a vehicle.

Even the "new" 3.5 non hybrid is old tech. There's no time I ever said I wish I had less power in any of the trucks I owned. Creature comforts in trucks are for femboys (Edit, not calling you one. It's just my general opinion).

Not sure what creature comforts you are referencing in relation to my argument. Storage? Yeah, totally for Nancy's.

They have the swing storage as an option on the build site. I will probably go that route to account for the loss of storage in cab.

It's nice to have in-cab storage too. Old school still had room under the back seat.

Wish they could figure out something like Ram boxes, apart from some fitment issues they apparently have, I think they're great. Call me a "femboy" I suppose.

Just stating my opinion. We all like what we like. If I affected you somehow, sorry to be living in your mind rent free. But either way, do you.

But yeah, again, I'd go with the iForce Max.

I'm not the one that started with the labels and continues to do so. You think way too highly of yourself, but that was evident from the beginning.

Well, your username is fitting considering how easily you blow up at forum posts. LOL

*sigh* sorry mods, I'll stop posting now. Promise. He'll probably post again just to feel like he won.

Is it me or does the limited trim seem like the best “bang for the buck”?

I’m torn because I’m not a big chrome fan, but I think the limited gives you more features per dollar than a loaded up SR5. I never go off road other than decently groomed trails, so OR package isn’t a big deal for me.

I think the platinum looks best, but not much value for the delta in pricing.

    Leaning limited at the moment.

Agree on the limited, seems to be the sweet spot. I'm also with you on chrome, but I could live with it.

I read somewhere that new Tundra is better in every way. So, checked it out at manufacturer's website. New 1794 without any additional options cost approximately $8,000 more than my 2019 1794. I have to agree that for thst much price hike, it better be better in every way.
