Having previously owned an ecoboost, Toyota will undoubtedly outperom it regardless of numbers on paper

Not sure if it's been mentioned but has anyone else notice the lack of tow hooks or recovery points?? I mean I guess they're assuming majority that need will be doing a front end replacement bumper anyway but some of us only need tow hooks not some massive replacement bumper. The 2022 is growing on me though... especially the interior

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Yeah that’s one of my complaints is no front tow hooks.

If that. With the way the government is running things and how things are going in Texas, we may not see much for years.

well for me its mpg = not having to stop all the time driving across the country (ie: convenience) i rather not have to stop every 2-3 hours to get gas, i prefer to go about 5hrs at a time between fill ups. this was evident when driving from ND to GA. great if you have the wife and kids with you and you have to stop about every 3 hrs. not so great when i go solo cause i will drive until about 1/4 tank, get gas, drinks, bathroom. in my 4runner that takes about 6-7hrs before 1/4 tank.

Hmm... I wonder if my JL Audio Stealth Box for 2nd Gen Tundras will fit the 2022 Tundra?

I read somewhere that this motor used in other vehicles , I think some lexus or something , was putting the published numbers down at the wheels not the crank, can't remember where it read the article though. I'll see if I can find it

So, this Tundra has electronic power steering, something I've never experienced. Does this mean one cannot turn the front wheels unless the engine is running?

No. Ive had this on a few vehicles now. Unless you know it's on there, there's not a discernable difference to the end user imo
