Have we figured out why the chicken did? Do we really want to add to the complexity of the question when we haven't answered the first part? :monocle:

(CNN) Why did the salmon cross the road?

Simple. To have babies, at least according to Alexis Leonard, a fish hatchery specialist who recorded the video of more than a dozen salmon swimming across a flooded US Highway 101 in Shelton, Washington.

The fish crossed the road because he heard there was a cool new strip joint on the other side with this one certain fine young sea bass working. I have no idea about the chicken.

Funny you titled it what you did, because I am actually more active on here when at work. No computer at home, so between my job duties I like to browse here.

I just had my first door lock actuator fail - Of course that didn't leave me stranded and is going to cost $5.75 to fix. :bored:

For $5.75 you must just be doing the motor. I did that on the first three, but found an actuator for $28 on rock auto. Well worth the extra 23 for my time and avoiding the tedious procedure.

I read some people weren't happy with the aftermarket actuators so I went for just the motor. Let me know how it works.

how long did it take once you got the actuator out to swap the motor? It looks like it should just be a matter of pulling a couple screws and popping clips to open the case?

That's what I thought. It took 30-45 minutes of cussing. There's a clip around the the actuator that's hard to get off. And a lot of little parts that are held in place only when the case is assembled.
