Depends i guess how much pain was in the knee...youd be in front of the instructor strapped in together, you couldve landed with the knee up to avoid standing on it

The first meetup has been scheduled!
Thank you to @2016SR5CO for using your connections to get this going.

Saturday June 22nd, 11 AM at:
    Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co.
531 S St Vrain Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/Q5Y9g

The owner of Lumpy Ridge has been let in on our shenanigans and there will be a food truck(s) on the premesis that day so we can eat, drink, and get acquainted!

Colorado locals: we need a plan to do some trail riding after this meetup nearby! RMNP is down the road from Lumpy Ridge; any good trails there?

so i only caught the request on 4 wheeling in rmnp and just now got caught up on the dates...i will miss another gathering :( after a year with the coa4wdci raffle rig, i finally get to wheel this year and the ONLY trip i have planned so far is 6/21 to 6/30, so i'll be somewhere on the way to chaco when this happens.

that said, the banana belt area (bv/st elmo/etc) should be clear. it can still get cold/wet/snowy, but it usually isn't stuff that sticks. it's just s$&%R^ camping weather, but in a fun area and you do get "good" days. you can also look at trails out 287 towards bv like slaughterhouse. or north near fc like kelly flats, moody, etc.

yankee hill area above central city should be mostly clear. i haven't explored much except the main track in the spring (just for trail cleanup days and what we hit was boring...most of what i've hit up there has been in the snow ;) ).

up the peak to peak, look at bunce/ironclads. unfortunately since the closing of lefthand, they've become the new trails to trash :( it's late enough in the year that georgetown/argentine area should mostly be doable, but the powerline road may have high water run off and may not be stock friendly. that said, don't think that your rig may not handle it just fine. my stock 2012 on bald street tires did this just fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXlQwGi6v9A and while a few crossings on the powerline route have been a bit deeper, it really hasn't been any worse than this. btw, proof of how crazy the weather in colorado can get that time of year, it was in the 90s when we headed up the trail and within a half hour, it was in the 50's. go prepared

while it may not be toytecs actual customer appreciation day, maybe you can just get them to sponsor a meet and greet. more than just you hang out in their lot...maybe they can do specific tundras.com sales and throw in some drinks, dogs and burgers. do we really need more than that?

if you guys do skydiving, i'll be pissed i missed it....i'm old but still have enough ooomph to wanna try that out. and the stanley is place i'd be totally game for, so i hope you all opt to camp at the marriott or a koa for my sake.

Maybe we should see if a vendor wants in on this? I’m new to this, but the headcount seems iffy to ask a vendor if they want to contribute.

    Hey everyone!
I need some more ideas for things to do on this weekend, can we get the chatter revved back up on this?

I've not had much luck on anything beyond the first meet at Lumpy Ridge (thanks again @2016SR5CO )

@ARamirez73_ do you think Something Brewery would want to do something for/with us Sunday? I remember the other day you said you were flirting with the bartender who has a 2nd gen. :D

Just found out I wont be making it this year. I will be in stinkyland during this time frame. Looks like I'll be missing by a week or 2.
