The official thread for the Colorado Tundras.com meet & greet in June 2019.

The meet was a great success! Next year will be Tundras to Texas (more info to come).
To check out the aftermath of this meet start on page 35.

    3011083.png
Where: Denver, CO. and W/NW surrounding areas (specific event/meetup locations and dates will be posted here as they are scheduled)
    When: June 22-24 2019
What: Tundras.com meetup and shenanigans: Trail riding, Breweries, hanging with Tundra brothers and sisters

Lodging will be your responsibility. Book a hotel room, campground, cabin, etc. In the Longmont, Boulder, Broomfield area, as meets and fun times will be centered around the W-NW Denver area. Book your lodging now before the tourists beat you to it.

    Plan of Attack:

    Saturday June 22nd:

    8AM
EASY (100% optional) 1.6 mile hike in Estes Park
    Alberta Falls Trail
4855 Bear Lake Rd, Estes Park, CO 80517
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/kBynRmnV8TsQUBULA

    11 AM
    Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co.
531 S St Vrain Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517

    https://maps.app.goo.gl/Q5Y9g
The owner of Lumpy Ridge has been let in on our shenanigans and there will be a food truck(s) on the premesis that day so we can eat, drink, and get acquainted!
(Thank you to @2016SR5CO for using your connections to get this going.)

After the brewery we will roll through RMNP to take in the sights.

    Sunday June 23rd:

    8-9AMish
    Trail Ride

Somewhere fairly mild for all levels of vehicle modification and driver skill. TBD depending on what is open by the time we get up there.

1PMish (depending on how long we spend on the trails)
    Something Brewery
    117 N Main St A, Brighton, CO 80601
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/x2wmGm6xKK37zeb77

If we get a lot of interest from the SoCal group. A huge caravan would be awesome.

I will have to check outage dates for 2019, but summer time would be best:

    Kids out of school
Do trails and meets on weekdays.

Might want to look into having this at a bigger location depending on attendance. For instance, in Moab my crew would rent a ranch with 4 cabins on it. 1700.00 for the week. Each cabin had 3 rooms. Under 200.00 for each room for a week. This included a kitchen, grill...well all the amenities of a house. This ranch also provided a place to work on broken shit, we didn’t have to post a guard with the vehicles that wasn’t drinking.

We could check into AIRB&B for places like this. There are some of us that don’t camp, myself being one of them. Glamping is about as far as I go, and if I have a choice, I’ll pick a house anytime.

    Places of interest:

Rocky Mountain National Park. The YMCA has cabins right outside the park, and are just awesome. Spendy. Just going to say that during the summer. Being a member helps.

    Ouray/Silverton/Telluride/Pagosa Springs.
Damn. Killer views and trails most people can do on here with a stock truck.

Created Butte. If you want all that Colorado has to offer, camp or glamp, this is it.

I know a company out there that also does guided fishing, hiking, backpacking, and such. We could do something near twin lakes or Maroon bells.
