I called Toytech and spoke with Liz again today. They are firm on not making any plans for their Customer Appreciation Event until around March. So we can't wait for that to plan this, which sucks, but it is what it is.

Choose your ideal long weekend on the poll at the top of the thread. A long weekend makes the most sense since most of us are workin' folks. If you want to stay and play longer; go for it!

I vote a weekend in June. Be after crazy memorial day weekend and before summer really heats up in July.

Edit: never mind, saw weekends posted and voted.

FYI......we have a lot of snow already compared to last year....A lot. I guarantee in early June......lots of passes will still have snow drifts. The later the better. Just sayin...

Yep....if you want to hit the high country trails, even the easier ones, snow drifts will be a problem. They melt off the last. You can have a clear trail and go around an exposed corner and have a 6ft snow drift that can run a 100ft and have to back up your whale. Don't ask.....heh...heh..

I live here in CO so waiting for you guys/gals to get here! Just want you to be able to take full advantage of what we have here. Lots of snow already compared to last year. I forgot which ski resort here had only 50+acres opened up for skiing at this time a year ago. This season....600+ acres already and much more snow to come.
    I hate auto spell check...

I really appreciate all the insight you and the other locals have provided, it makes planning quite a bit easier.
If we can avoid poor weather, we will get the most out of this meetup; especially in the trail-riding department.

Keep in mind...CO weather is crazy but predictable. Up in the high country...70+ degrees by noon....by 2 or 3pm...thunder clouds, heavy rain, hail, even light snow and temps can drop to the 40's in minutes. Literally...
