    I've had my option A's installed now for a couple of weeks and absolutely love them. A couple of days after I installed them I was in the pickup line at my kids school and while waiting for the kids to be dismissed another Tundra owner knocked on my window and wanted to know what kind of sorcery I have performed to my taillights. I just directed him to the Hotshot Offroad website. Told him he should get a set so I can see them in action on those days I am stuck in line behind him.

    To help me understand the new harness setup, when I go to do the install. The updated harness (two lead goes into 1) goes into one of the OEM and the Switchback harness is separate and that goes into another OEM connector?

    So you're going to have 2 harnesses per side - Both of which are different and plug into the OEM connectors only one way.

    Here is a pic for reference:

    Top Harness with molded splitter - Gray connector goes to OEM. The other two black (round) connections go to the TOP and BOTTOM VLEDS bulbs. These are interchangeable so as long as you go top/bottom with these you'll be fine.

    Bottom Harness - Connect gray connectors into OEM hardware. This connection goes to the CENTER bulb which is the switchback bulb that handles turn/reverse. Here is where you install the resistor. The resistor (using the supplied "Y") goes in between the harness that we provide and the switchback bulb.

    I installed my kit yesterday - it’s really straightforward once you get the lights off the truck and match bulb sizes. And Colton’s notes above should clear up any other confusion.

    I love the way they look and function. Definitely how they should have been done from the factory. Thanks @memario1214!

    Easily under 30. I would guess maybe 10 mins per side, if even that much time. It will probably take longer to get cleaner/alcohol out to clean a spot on the bedside for the resistors than the actual bulb and harness install takes.

    I didn't need resistors so I didn't have that step. With unboxing from start to finish 10-15 minutes. Take your time however long it may be, it's not a race.

    It's crazy, but I've had my kit on my Tacoma for 3 years and never seen anyone else (that I've noticed and I look) around me with them. I know they're out there.

    But driving my Tacoma last weekend behind the new wife driving the Tundra, it was just too cool to watch over and over. Every brake and every turn just made me smile. (Option A) :D:cool: . On the way home kind of wanted to switch trucks so I could see the Tacoma in action but didn't, meh, next time... and she likes driving the Tundra

    So, did the installed last night. Took about 30 mins or less, pretty straight forward.

    Took it for a drive last night to test out the lights. Damn, it's Bright . Hopefully I don't blind any drivers behind me with the brake lights engage. The Amber is my favorite part, love throwing the turns signals even more.

    Now, I just need to find another Tundra and drive in front of it.

    I installed Option A today. Very nice kit. A little spendy, tho. I'm going to try to offset the cost a little by selling my LED taillight bulb replacements. I'd like to put an add in the "Marketplace," but I don't have 50 posts yet. If anyone's interested in these, PM me. Hope this post isn't inappropriate. If so, let me know.
