I live by you and was also told to stay away from uni ball due to our winters. I got SPC’s and couldn’t be happier.

Great, thanks guys. I know 295/70/18’s fit fine with the stock UCA’s but it sounds like aftermarket UCA’s tend to bring the tire back toward the body mount. I’m glad to hear some guys are getting away without the BMC with aftermarket UCS’s. My wheels are 18x9 with +25mm offset so that should help.
Has anyone come up with a better idea than running the 1/2” block on the driver rear to help with the tundra lean? I’m going to adjust the front with the coil preload but the back also has a 1/2” lean. I wonder if using the Toytec adjustable shackles and setting the passenger side at 1" and the drivers side at 1.5” would be a better option? Has anyone tried this?

LT75, I just drove past you Sunday to ride motocross at Byron. Yeah our winters are hard on nice equipment that works well out west. I wanted to go with the SPC’s but was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find a shop that understood them enough... Who did your install and alignment? I’m southeast, in Mokena IL. I have an appointment at a place Monday for the coilover/uca install but if it doesn’t workout it’s always nice to have a backup.

Yes, installing BDS UCA’s with Moog ball joints. Staying away from uniballs due to harsh winters and lots of winter road salt that just wrecks everything!!!!

I second the love for Fox 2.5s. I don't even need these badboys but I'm glad I have them. The offroad shop who put them on for me said I can go up to 10" of lift with them but I cranked them to just clear rub issues. As it stands I'm at almost 8" of lift.

So my truck goes in Monday to remove the OME 612’s and get the Fox 2.5 0-3” coilovers with resi’s and BDS UCA’s. Monaco and xtyfighterx sounds like you guys are running the same coilover. What’s is your final coilover threads showing and how much lift did you get? And are you level drivers side to passenger side? If anyone else is running this setup I’d love to hear your numbers and if your level. Thanks!!!

    Thanks!!!
Also, anyone running 295/70/18’s with aftermarket UCA’s and no body mount chop? I know it’s common on stock UCA’s but I know the aftermarket UCA’s pull the tire back towards the body and often cause the need for a chop.

This is mine as it sits today. 3” lift preserving the original 3/8” driver side lean. Driver could use 1 more turn, sagged an 1/8”. Front has been awesome, beat the crap out of them. The back shocks are terrible, and not fixable, too short.

Vizsla, so it looks like if I want to sit level I could do 2 threads on the passenger side and 8 on the drivers side?
I know you said you did NOT have the body mount chop with 295/70/18’s... what is you wheel offset? Thanks!

Good eye! Yeah I did that on purpose, I like the wider portion in the back. Helps getting the little guy in his seat.

Great info. Thanks guys!!! Sounds like everyone is getting slightly different results. Mine are waiting to be installed Monday. I currently have them set at 3 on the passenger side and 10 on the drivers side. I think I’ll probably back my drivers side off to 8 or 9?
This is how it currently sits with the OME 612’s and coachbuiler +1 shackles. I like the current stance but just looking for a little better setup.
I have some black SCS SR8 wheels in the garage. Once the new coilovers are on and the alignment is good, I’m going to order some Ridge Grapplers, either 295/70/18 or 285/70/18.

I had no lean before the OME 612’s but now have 1/2” lean on the drivers side front AND rear. I know I could just and a shim but I’m sure the new
Fox 2.5 0-3” with the resi’s will be great.

Yeah, I’m hoping to get closer to 3” by decreasing some preload and figure I’d like to correct for the lean that I currently have before the install if possible.

It's easy to adjust after the install so I dunt think you should worry about that. I can walk you through it when you are ready

You guys have given me some good tips and I think I can adjust them myself but the truck is going in Monday morning and I’ll be out of town until Wednesday. Meanwhile the shop was going to run it over to the place they use for an alignment so it will be ready when I pick it up. I was hoping to have it pretty close to even drivers to passenger side before the alignment. I guess I could have them hold off on the alignment or even adjust the coils for me but I didn’t really trust them not to losen the set screw to much or screw something up. A different shop did a crappy job installing and aligning my OME 612 set up and I’m hesitant to trust another shop. I wish I had time right now to install everything myself but I’m just super busy. I’ll probably fine tune the truck to my picky OCD standards when I get it back and send it out for another alignment after things settle a little. Thank you guys for ALL the help!!! Much appreciated!!! You guys have some very nice trucks!

I know I am a little late to the party but I am currently running the Fox 2.0 coilovers with stock UCA’s on Toyo 35’s you can get the amount of lift you are looking for with them and a good alignment. My issues was I needed them adjusted down in the front a bit to match the rear. No issues, with alignment, UCA’s or CV’s and I am also running the diff drop kit in the front. From what you have said I think those will meet your needs, also the ride seems good to me as well. I am upgrading to a full set of Icons, billet UCA’s and RXT leaf pack next week due to the load I am carrying but the Fox’s have treated me well. Here is some pics.
