    A tire I didn't see on the list was "Wild Country". Anybody have any experience or thoughts on this brand?

    Got about 20k on these:
    Federal Couragia 33x12.5x20.

    Road noise = 5/10
    Traction, pull = 9/10
    Sand (beach, camping trails) = 10/10
    Water = 9/10
    Mud = ?/10
    Price = 10/10
    Longevity = 7/10

    I love the agressive look. Amazing in sand. Sipes just peel the water right away, on wet roads. Haven't buried them in mud yet.
    Rubber is a little on the soft side. Not gonna get 65k out of these. Especially if we start pulling a travel trailer.
    Did I mention, you can't beat $212/tire, for 33's?!!?

    So... since I upgraded from a level kit to coilovers (She's about 2" higher). I'm gonna make a change to the above post.

    Road noise = 7/10

    She's off the wheels a little more. So, it's a little quieter in the cab.

    Dang man. Those look like a nice mud tire. Especially for the price. Added to the master list on the original post.

    I've read some reviews on the Federal MTs, seems like they're a good budget MT but not as good as some others. When it comes to cost/mile they come up about the same compared to some other more expensive MTs like the Toyos/Nittos that last a bit longer

    Yea, you're right. I was in a pinch, and went middle of the road.
    However, lots of the reviews got multiple stars for Sand. We drive on the beaches a lot at home. Plus, forest trails for camp sites.
    Really couldn't beat 'em for the $$$. Also, I'm a big fan of Bridgestone. Federal is a subsidiary of Bridgestone.

    My baby's scheduled for a 4" lift in the next 2weeks. This tire thing is overwhelming especially this being my fisrt go around. I pretty sure i want 35's. Has 33's as it sits..275/70/18 Continentals. Daily driver, must handle Wisconsin winters though and a tight budget of $1800 for tires and wheels. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    BUMP :notsure:

    I know I want to go with 18" Fuel Anza's, about $950 as I can see. Need shoes, 34-35" but keep the whole thing under $2,000.

    Duratracs would be a great choice. 325 65 18s.

    Probably about $2300 from what I can see on pricing.

    Lol, I've lived long enough to have spent that much on worse things ;) And I do like the look and the write ups on the Duratracs.

    When I put my level kit on, 33's looked great. I'll be @ 5" by the end of this week. Wish I had gone w/ 35's. Bite the bullet, and start where you'll want to finish.

    I also agree with: @csuviper, @Relentless! Duratracs are gonna be my next set. Durable, yet esthetically pleasing on the eye.

    Consider the bullet bitten! I'll probably have to roll around with a 4" lift and 33's for a couple of weeks until I receive the tires and wheels. :)

    You will still be happy! . You'll be even happier w/ 35s. I'm running 33x12.5x20.
    I can't wait for the tread to wear down, in another 30,000 miles. That way I can get my 35 Duratracs.

    Thanks for all the input! So now that 35" Duratracs are being ordered. I would like to use 18 by 9 Fuel Anza's with the 35's. Would a + 20 or +30 offset minimize rubbing?

    I would imagine the +30 would be less rubbing since theres less steering scrub to hit the fender liners/body mount

    Two weeks is nothing to fret about. I had 32 inch stock tires with 3 & 1/2 inch lift for close to a year before I got larger tires. I don't think it looks bad at all. This picture shown is with OME lift with stock tires on.

    Put about 350 highway miles on my new Nitto trail grapplers today in some really crappy weather. Pouring rain with standing water on the road for most of the drive, some slush over Donner pass, and high winds the whole way. Tires stuck like glue even at 65-70 mph. Saw a few cars, even a sequoia, that had hydroplaned and wrecked but we had no issues. Very happy with them, just a tad noisy.

    I had to drive an F150 for awhile while my work truck was in the shop, the thing I liked most were the KO2's. No road noise, and handled pretty dang well in the mud on pivot roads which surprised me.

    Quick update on my Trail Grapplers
    They've got 6k on them now, nearly exactly. They're already down 25% on their tread as measured with a digital tread gauge, not thrilled about that wear. If they keep going like this they wont even last 20K on my truck, I wont run a mud tire below 5 or 6 32nd's tread as they get worthless around there. I had hoped to see 30k out of them, definitely not happening though! :pout:
    Might sell them off and replace with some AT's, something like the ExoGrappler, KO2, or Toyo AT2

    You got any alignment numbers? There is a guy on another thread that gives specs to keep from wearing them so fast...

    I had the truck aligned the day I had them installed. They arent really wearing funny or anything, quite even actually, but they're just melting off pretty quick. Granted about a 1/4 of those miles are towing 8k lbs trailer out to Moab and back. But the front and back are even, fronts just a little rounder on the edges from steering. But I've rotated them every 2500mi too to keep them even.

    unsolicited opinion. Don't ever buy a General tire. They do not honor their warranty.

    Hey OP, what tires would you recommend for the OEM 1794 20" wheels. I really like the Coopers ST Maxx but I don't think they are available in the 275-60-20 size. I want a stronger tire than a standard load and want a more agressive look. So what do you think???
