    After watching that video a while back I tried tranny fluid on the plastic piece on the bumper of our Sienna, just below the rear hatch opening. It is essentially gray rather than black. While the ATF initially darkened it, shortly thereafter (same day) it was back to gray again. I even tried another coat, to no avail. Not scientific or anything, but it didn't work on the one piece I tried.
