Solution finish is probably the longest lasting of the products out there.....but it's main use is restoring older, faded plastic trim. Keep in mind, it's basically a dye and will need to be reapplied at some point. The results that I've seen are pretty impressive. If your trim is not that bad, and you just need a coating, Cquartz Dlux. Wolfgang Exterior Trim Seal is decent, but I've never gotten six months out of it.

I’ve only washed my truck a couple of times since I first applied this product. The gloss is outstanding without the greasy feeling. I ended up ordering a second kit because I like it so much.
I feel like I should give you a heads up as far as the application goes. You want to make sure the plastic is clean and totally dry before applying. Put the product on liberally, let sit and gently wipe with microfiber cloth. Enjoy!

If you’re ordering from them, I highly recommend Wise Guy tire cleaner and Spiked Punch waterless wash. Those are both head and shoulders above their competition.

I have used 303 Aerospace Protectant for years now with very good results. It leaves a decent shine and takes a while to completely disappear. My vehicles are outside so I see how durable these products really are. It still needs reapplying but I never seen any trim product that doesn’t need reapplying.

I did my nerf steps and this stuff looks great. it is a dye so be careful and mask off painted surfaces.

Do you use the 303 on the rubber around the windows or on your dash board? If so how is it on those surfaces?

I have used on both those areas with good success. However applying it can be a little tedious there. I find it’s very streaky and noticeable when on glass. I like it on the dashboard but you have to get every little crevice to make it look right.

I just put this on the Wife's FJ a few days ago as the bumpers and spare time cover were all badly faded (2011). It was easy to do, clean surface, apply with siupplied applicators, wait a few mins and buff off with a Microfibre towel. As of now they look like new! I had a guy that does detailing for a living recommend it. Time will tell how it holds up.

Had anyone tried transmission fluid on trim? There is a really good YouTube channel by the name of Sweet Project Cars. He has a video showing how to use it on trim. Basically clean really good, let vehicle set out in the sun and get hot, apply transmission fluid let soak in.

    Not nearly enough room here!
I use an old sock, put it on like a glove and spray the product on the sock, not the trim. I have several Microfiber Applicator Gloves too but they're used with Car Guys Sealant for my wheels.....yes, I have a problem:D

303 is good but is far from a restoration product. It lasts a week or so for exterior use. While I have it and use it for some stuff, it's not what you're looking for.
