Yes i bought the sabm from a supplier at tundra geeks. It made a difference for sure. Also i have 2nd gen trd intake that uses the cone style filter. Both of them together made a big difference in seat of pants.

Hey guys does this part also work for the 2020 ? When I look up the part it shows it working for only 07-16 models. Can some confirm this

Installed the AFA today. Took about 10 minutes.

Haven’t had a chance to drive the truck yet, but will be curious to see if I can hear/feel any difference. Already have the K&N drop in.

5% tint all around, 35% tinted windshield with a 5% brow, removed stickers/decals
So can anyone confirm if this works? Basically it replaces the inlet tube that goes in the fender right? I’m guessing this could be used in conjunction with the SABM mod?

Could you feel any difference? What filter are you running? I’ve been thinking about doing the SABM, TRD accelerator, as well as the K&N replacement pipe with drop in filter.

I think it’s more for scavenging cold air more efficiently through the fender. You won’t get a “seat of the pants” difference from it. I did it on my 2007 CrewMax, am considering doing it on my 2021 CrewMax now, if the part number works on the newer models.

Simple question. Does the whole TRD intake kit come with the airflor accelerator or do you buy that in addition to the whole TRD kit?

I’d have to imagine the kit comes with it. I bought mine separately though and am running with the stock air box.

It was made for the 2nd gen up to 13 model year as the airbox was smaller on those which is why it snaps into the fender as it is designed to unlike the 2.5 gen 14 and up airbox which is wider and closer to the fender and requires the airflow accel to be pushed past the bump into the fender leaving it loose and unsealed.I put it on mine saw how crappy it fit and took it back out . Maybe im just to picky with certain things. :boom:
