The problem with TFL is they only rate towing and MPG. Why don't they demonstrate turning radius? :Tundra wins hands down. Why don't they rate reliability? Anything can make it 100 miles. Tundra wins hands down. Why don't they rate ride quality (not towing or loaded) Tundra winds hands down. I drive 365 days a year, I tow, haul 20 days a year? A F250 destroy any 1/2 ton towing or hauling I know owned one, problem was the other 345 days I was miserable. We have the best truck out there. Buddy bitches everyday about his gm transmission constantly hunting, took in told him moisture in trans fluid WTF. Changed. Where was that mentioned on TFL?????????? They suck.

That's not all they rate. What are you talking about? Are they Colorado Clowns? Yes. I used to make fun of them too. After actually looking at their channels, seeing how they evolved, I like what they do....and have one of the most successful channels on YT.
    Fast Lane truck 803K followers
    TFL Offroad 176K
    TFL Car 961K
TFL Bike 4.31K (never knew they had this channel)
    TFL Now 306K
    TFL Classic 68.3K
    TFL Talk 3.84K

    However they do:
    -off-road abilities.
    -long term testing.
-Long range mpg testing up to 1000 miles (towing and empty)
    -Repair costs
    -Up and coming products
    -Testing products
-Reviews tow vehicles in these areas: Braking, Interior/comfort, suspension, tow performance, subjective..etc.

Why would they demonstrate turning radius? It's listed in build specs, and would you honestly watch a video series of trucks turning in circles?

I honestly enjoy many of their videos, are there some things to nitpick ? Sure, but with all the content they produce and the amount of vehicles they showcase, I think they do a good job and are pretty entertaining.

I bought the cooler kit as my truck is loaded all the time and I drive hills every day. I could easily be wrong and engineers know what they are doing. I don’t see any real downside to installing the cooler unless I pinned the thermostat open.

However, I work in finance for a manufacturing company. I understand cost pressures and engineering margins. I think this was said before but if you drive your truck like a car or SUV then I wouldn’t bother. If you use your truck, $900 bucks is cheaper than $3k for transmission work at 180k miles

I’m still on the fence about this. On one hand I bought the Tundra for its reliability. I do have faith in the engineers but this is what I saw today driving in the interstate 80-85MPH 75 degrees ambient. Just me in the truck, stock size KO2 tires.

All you can do is keep gathering data and make an educated decision. Thanks for pointing out the lock up icon, going to add that !

FWIW, seeing 200+ in a 2014+ GM with the 6L80/90 is NOT uncommon whatsoever (pretty standard actually)....and they have a front mounted cooler (tied in with the condenser) which utilizes, what looks like, a 180F thermostat.

Hmmmmm my 2019 may not have that??? I don't see anything like you guys posted. Does it have to be linked to the truck while adding that?
