Is there a tuner that will set the nannie mode to beast mode so that you don't have to do it each time you start up?

Don't we all wish there was. Someone could make millions on that. How many tundras are there? Where do we sign up for a group buy?

Somewhere there's a thread where dirty deeds said something about pulling the fuse to the vsc, wonder what else that may affect?

Although I like the way it feels in tow haul, I don't really like that it holds the shift points out. It makes it sound like it's struggling and you're trying to go fast, but going nowhere. I'm sure when I get my exhaust it would sound like I'm trying to hard to make a spectacle of myself. Almost like at half throttle it sounds like you're practically flooring it and you're giving it all it's got. Giving others the impression that Toyotas are slow, like "look at that guy in this Toyota trying hard to be cool".

I'm more along the lines of "I am nice until it's time not to be nice" driving technique.

    Roadhouse!

I actually enjoy the smooth throttle of the truck without tow haul. It's poised and refined. Put your foot into it and it's a freight train.

I just stop the truck, press and hold traction control button until Auto LSD light turns off and my VSC and Trac Control lights come on. I believe it depends on what model tundra you buy. Mine is a SR5. My wife's 2014 Platinum Sequoia has like 5-6 different modes with the traction control.

When I tried all of this I couldn't get the auto lsd light to stay on.
    1 press= auto lsd on
2 press hold= auto lsd on and vsc light on
3 press hold= auto lsd light OFF and vsc light on and traction control off message
Is that how beast mode is achieved on a 3rd Gen?

Edited:: I should have also said then turn tow haul on

Yeah, that's the closest to all nannies off you get without putting it in 4lo. Then and then are the nannies truly off.

I pushed my Tow Haul button today for the first time to see what I would get. I am going to re-placard it to read "Race Mode"

Ok I have been doing this wrong. You don't just hold for ~6 seconds. You have to hold for ~6 seconds a second time.

Unless I missed something else you were talking about, you hold it down for three seconds take your finger off the button and then hold the again for another three seconds. That is all nannies off as far as Toyota is concerned. I usually only do the first step which leaves the simulated limited slip in tact. Otherwise I'm just doing a peg leg down the street which is counterproductive if you're trying to haul ass. I guess the ABS kicking in to simulate a limited slip does somewhat of the same thing but if you ease into it a bit the rest is history.
