Yeah I have been seriously considering the 285/70r18 nitto ridge grapplers. Says on their website they are only 60lbs per tire and they are supposed to be 33.9inches tall. I think the jump to a 70lb 295/70r18 that’s 34.4 inches tall might mean a lot less mpg.

I have my Boss 2.5’s set at 3” and have been running stock UCA’s for around 2 years. Definitely looking to upgrade UCA’s in the future, but it won’t kill your truck to run stock ones. I’m running 295/70R18’s on that setup, and only had to do minimal trimming.

It wouldn’t surprise me if you can run stock rears with shackles, but I upgraded those when I put shackles on. It’s probably one of those “it’s just not ideal” kind of scenarios to keep stock rears with a lift.

I'm swapping my 5100's for toytec 2.5's in front with shims and the 2.0 in back with the +3 cb shackle....I should be at about 3 inches. I needed to go beefier since I am adding a C4 hybrid bumper with winch in front....here is the stance now. Dave at Toytec hooked me up....I had SPC UCA's already....Dave at CB powder coated them red last year.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions! Went with the toytec/eibach 2.5” coilover with one coachbuilder shim (3” total in front), SPC adjustable UCAs, CV drop, new rear eibach shocks and the toytec shackle set at 1.5”. Ride was stiff for the first 200 miles but the trails softened up everything very well. Couldn’t be happier!

Stock wheels with 1.25” spidertrax adapters to stick out the 285/75r18 ridge grapplers

any questions feel free to ask

    Toytec IFP rear shocks
Wheelers front off road bump stops
    275/70r18 Falken Wildpeaks

    I dig the stance.

Those 285/75's are the same weight as the 295's. Its the weight that is the major part of killing the mpgs. I'm staying with the 285/70's.

Did you end up doing a shim on the left side of your truck? Looks great btw.

How do the shims ride? Thinking about adding this to my 1.75 CB shackles to give just a little extra rake.

No shim needed as the coilovers are adjustable.

They are just 1/2 inch so they ride fine.
