Interesting. I’m running 275/70/18 now and was looking at different sizes and the 285/65 was on the radar. Do you notice much of a difference? Which one filled the wheel well better? Thanks.

I would say the 275's will fill it out more. On the website TOYO says the 275's are 33.4" in diameter and the 285's are 32.6" Diameter.....

Thanks. I like the 275/70 but I wouldn’t mind a little more width. I wish they made the 285/70. The only tire in that size I would consider is the Ridge Grappler but I would really like to try these Toyos

Just put Trail Grapplers on my Tundra but I think my wife will be getting these for her 20 4runner TRD ORP.

Likewise I hope they produce more sizes. I would enjoy a 285/70 as well......

The Toyo in 275/70/18 is 3 pounds less per tire than the Cooper.

Which is a pleasant surprise due to the extra rigidity of the Toyo!

57lbs vs 54lbs in the 275/70. I’m sold. It will be my next tire.

    Awesome!

Question, have you had a chance to run them in the rain yet? My AT2’s get a little assy when making sharp turns, or taking a curved offramp too fast. Damn near wrecked my ride the other day...luckily they grabbed just before I hot the offramp wall!!

Curious also as I do believe we will be adding these to my wife's 20 4runner to get rid of the street tire Dunlaps. Toyo is claiming they designed this tire with a focus on wet traction.

The BFG is almost 59 so I’ll be dropping 5lbs per tire.

I like the 285/65 better actually. They look more in proportion as the 275/70 looked too skinny. As far as ride, it's a night and day difference.

That’s the only thing I don’t like. The 275 has a little bit of pizza cutter look.

Yikes! The one set of AT2's I've owned got real slick in the snow & rain after 50% tread. I'm undecided between Toyo AT3's and Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain.
    Has anyone run those yet?

Sorry but no rain yet but everything else has been great. I’m am truly impressed with how quiet they are with as an aggressive of tread as they look.
I will let you know once i drive in the wet with them.
