So what’s the consensus on these tires? These tires are actually cheaper than the Wild Peaks on discount tire (wtf!) and are the only two tire brands I’m considering.

I love mine. 15K so far. Rotated every 5K. Well mannered on road, awesome on fire trails and snow, good in rain. Some tread noise, but is to be expected with a more aggressive AT

Anyone running these in 305/65R18? I'm considering dropping down in size from 295/70R18 STT Pro's. I do alot of towing (7500 lbs TT) and want some low end grunt back but want to keep a some what aggressive look.

Thanks man! Bilstiens with 2" up front and coach builder +2 in the rear, mainly to account for the cap weight.

I was at Les Schwab today talking to them about tires, and I asked specifically about the Toyo AT3. They said that it wasn't great in wet weather, which surprised me.

I think he was trying to push me into a more expensive tire, but for those of you driving in a lot of rain what are your thoughts?

My set are still relatively low mile, so time will tell the full story. But they’re noticeably better in wet, than the previous gen. Noticeably better in all conditions really.

The only downside to them over the ATII, is they are slightly louder. Not that it matters to me.

For the fellow Tundra owners with LT295/70R18 AT3's, I wan't to buy these, never seen this size in person, but they look like pizza cutters in some pictures (IMO). Does anybody agree? Do these look wider in person? Thanks in advance.

Any real world weights of the 275/70/18? These are 8-10 lbs lighter than K02’s or Wildpeaks, very tempting to maintain some power.

Just got mine installed the other day, 285/70r18. So far so good, relatively quiet on the highway, look good, and well balanced. Price was pretty decent at $400 CAD per tire vs $460 for ridge grapplers. They fit the truck well with lots of clearance on the upper control arms and mud flaps on trd pro wheels, no spacers. As mentioned in other posts, excuse the mess and the wheel centre caps are on order.

Looks great! Didn’t know they made the AT3 in 285/70R18. Must be a new size for them?

And those will probably be better in the Canadian snow than RG’s.

Very true. You guys still have real winters up there not like the miserable dreary rainy “winters” of NE Ohio. I miss real snowy winters!

Is the consensus with the AT3s that they balance well even in the larger sizes? I just got some in 305/70r17, and am wondering what to expect for installation. The more weight they need the more I have to sweat the weight placement to clear calipers is all I’m thinking.
