    • Boxed and plated lower control arms are designed for dual 2.5" shock capability.
    • Upper and lower control arms eliminate factory ball joints and incorporate 1" uniballs for maximum wheel travel and component strength.
    • TOTAL CHAOS includes 1" I.D. uniballs that feature a heat treated stainless steel ball & heat treated stainless steel race for maximum corrosion resistance and component longevity. These uniball's also features a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise.

TOTAL CHAOS Long Travel - Heim Swaybar Mounting Kit

The tubular LCA set up is great. However with the added cab weight of the 4 door we wanted to reduce some of the body roll at high speeds for flatter cornering. Adding the Sway-Bar-System gave the Tundra much better on and off road handling

I've been beating on your tube kit hard for the past 4 years. I love the ground clearance on the lower arms. This is by far the best kit out there if you need clearance over technical trails.

I have a suggestion though, you need a reinforcement on the tube where the knuckle contacts the lower control arm when you turn the wheel full lock. The tube gets dented from the knuckle and it makes me hesitant to do a full lock turn on tight trails.

Other than that the kit is badass!

What components do you recommend gusseting when running Long Travel?

I have my spindles and cam tabs gusseted. I definitely recommend the cam tabs. As for the spindle, both sides are cracking in two different places. Same places on both sides. I think the spindle is flexing and the gussets aren't strong enough in those two places. But my spindles haven't bent yet so I'm not worried about it

Have you guys ever considered doing a "step up" kit? Like how for the Tacoma your shop offers a +2 or +3.5. Since the Tundra kit is a +2.5, a +4 would be interesting (ie. LSK's is +5).

@TOTAL CHAOS why no bed cage option like camburg. the sua parts are all there, all you need to do is make a cage. Although im doing a combination of your parts and theirs. I have camburg cage, your sua plates and lower shock mounts, and deavers.

Also bump mounts would be nice for LT guys for the rear. camburg only makes them for mid travel guys. Im having to custom make them myself. but no big deal.

also like alex, i run your front kit and love it. No complaints. on the front kit you guys should include a set of wheeler super bumps for the front kit. they are much better than stock bumps and front cans are not really needed with dual coilover / bypass setups. plus there is limited room when you add a limit strap

I would only guess as their front kit has 16" of travel and utilizes stock CV's with longer intermediate shafts you run into extreme CV angles at full droop which can cause issues so if you extend the shaft another 2 inches while you may gain an inch or two of travel similar to LSK race kit #'s you run the risk of binding a CV which could be catastrophic. But I could be totally off base @TOTAL CHAOS could probably give a better reason as to why not. Just spit balling here

plus this kit is the exact same as what they run on their race trucks. So it works, if it aint broke dont fix it! LOL

Yea, that's true. You'd really have to trust the strength of your limit straps and bump stops. Didn't you or Alex reach out to RCV about axles?

RCV axles were several months out last time I asked. They might be available now, but they're only making LT axles specd for TC kit

alex did, i wouldnt waste the money honestly ive built two sets of the tc spec axles and the toyota CV's are beefy!! and the 4130 Chromoly TC axles are great. Yeah limit straps and bumps would be the key but id be afraid the length in the arm and cv angles would still be too much. Thus why go longer if you have to restrict travel if that makes sense

2500$ though is wayyyy too much, id rather build a spare set of TC spec axles with factory toyota parts and carry those, two sets for the price of one. Plus they have boot issues. AS we know from the convo in my build thread

With the knuckle modified there shouldn't be major contact at the LCA. Did you trim your steering stops? I've attached the installation instructions that show the modification. Here is an image of the knuckle after modification:

The majority of our customers want to maintain maximum bed space. With this in mind, we developed a solution that would allow longer shocks without intruding in the bed. Some customers have made custom cages for their applications or used other options on the market.

We do offer a Bump Stop Mount Kit for the Tundra! Designed to work with a KING 2.0” stubby adjustable bump stops. Since you're running a SUA kit the install is a little different. Instead of running the bolt-on striker plate you will need to weld a striker plate to the top of the axle housing.

Thanks for the support! Post a pic or two of your truck in action :)

Yeah will do and understand the market driven point makes total sense. I will post up pics have a ton in my build thread. That being said about the bumps I am just making my own can mounts using king Kartek bump cans and some plate. I also have axle strike plates that will be welded in. Thanks for the help and comments.

No plans to make an additional kit for the Tundra. We've found +2.5" to be the best option for maximum performance while maintaining a daily driver package. It's a very wide vehicle as-is, and at +2.5" it's barely fitting in parking spots. Going wider wouldn't be very practical.
