I like chrome. But then again, I also like blacked out trucks, color-matched trucks, . . . as long as it's done tastefully.

Personally I don't like chrome bug shields and chrome pillar pieces. But then again, I've seen a few trucks that looked pretty sweet with them.

Toyota chrome is of high quality. After 8 years of severe winter/snow environment, none of the OEM chrome shows any sing of rust. If you could get the OEM stuff, get them. After-market stuff is hit-or-miss.

This^^^^. Chrome is fine as long as your truck doesn't look like it belongs in a Tijuana street parade.

Chrome has it's place, on a 69 Goat. Red Tundra blacked out is one of the best color combos imo, especially on the Barcelona Red. DECHROME

I think your truck would look fine with chrome mirror caps, but idk about the mismatched door handles. Maybe red would be your best bet. Also you can remove that vinyl from the B pillar, its red underneath.
I'm not a chrome fan and have ditched all of mine. Funday cuz the other day I was at my buddies house who has a white 2016 Limited and I was actually thinking the chrome looks good on his truck

Today I installed my plasti dipped exhaust tip on my truck. This was the last piece of chrome I had. Total chrome delete on Quicksand.

Exhaust tip plasti-dipped? No chance of that melting/flaking off?

I think it depends on what your vision of the truck is. I personally like both the chrome and black, but they have to be done tastefully. My truck came with chrome steps, but I sold them and got black to match the toolbox and tint better. I debated on wheels for a long time, and decided on the machined/black combo, and love it. I wasn't getting rid of my chrome bumpers, so I think the wheels compliment both areas.

@texasrho83 , those old square bodies definitely looked good with the chrome! I need to get this one back up and running, because it's a lot of fun to drive.

@mjvr2c i don't know where you are with this, but it looks like you haven't checked back in a while to see that you've been offered free chrome. The other main source of "good Toyota chrome" would be @Roman who is active on here and an authentic ;) Toyota Parts Guy. To reach either of these guys, click on their names then click on 'start a conversation' to send a private message. Or you can talk to 'em here by typing @ in front of their names....

Please post pics when you make changes. We love pictures!
