True, Cooper rarely offers rebates on the ST Maxx. In fact I called Discount Direct the month before I bought and the dude told they never have. Well here comes the Labor Day sale and there are rebates on most all Coopers including the ST Maxx. I did not need tires for at least 3 more months but jumped on the sale. I ordered a set of AT3s for daughters Liberty and Maxx's for me. Between the Discount Tire rebate and the Cooper rebate I got a really good deal.

Depends tire and load rating. Load rating more than tire type and brand. Running BFK KOs D load at 46. 12k on them and wear is even.
