Hey guys.... I’ve read thru lots of posts and am in information overload. I have a 2018 mgm 1794 with 20 inch choke clad wheels. I’d love to get rid of those but for now I’ll just focus on tires. I’d like to get a more aggressive looking all terrain tire. Anyone have any recs or pics of what looks good? I’m not terribly concerned with longevity as I work from home with no commute and go thru trucks fairly often. I do some off-roading at my hunting club but am mostly highway. Don’t want to sacrifice too much ride or sound if possible? Appreciate your

You can't really go wrong with BFG KO2s. If you are swapping out your rims, I would recommend going to 18s. You get more sidewall tread with a smaller rim, and that adds to the "aggressive" look. I'm sure someone will post up some pictures, or just do a search for some of the tire threads on here. There are plenty. Also check out the wheel and tire section for more info on specific tires.

That’s a good insight. If I have 20s and keep em... will it be a waste to get at’s for the aggressive look?

20s used to be a must have for me. Guess things have changed!

I had Nitto Terra Grapplers on truck before, they do have the look you are after. You can check photos and specs on discountire.com.

Looks like I’m gonna go with Falken wildpeaks at3 after much review. Will go on stock 30 inch rims.... the only question now is 275/60s or 275/55s?

Basically have all four installed for 830.

Good Choice. This is our second set of wildpeaks AT3 and I love em. Warning they are heavy. Here is a set of 20’s on the wife’s whip

Fat Bob's coilovers, TC upper uca's, Toytec 1.5" rear block with Bilstein 5160. 20" Xd Hoss. 35×12.50 Hercules Terra Trac. Flowmaster 70 series exhaust. Toyota predator steps. ARE V series shell w/ Yakima rack. Weathertechs.
60s will fit. I have a 2018 limited with Falken at3w 275/60/20. It almost touches that small front mudflap in front of the tire at full lock. Clears the rear mudflap fine. Like stated above, take off that tiny flap if it hits it and bothers u.

I ran Cooper ST Maxx on my Tacoma. I need a very durable tire in rocks, cactus, mesquite, and aggressive tread for mud. Took a little weight to balance but put 30k on them with no problems. Probably most aggressive AT out there. I had a better pic but deleted it.

I am looking at doing the same on my limited with 20 in rims pretty soon. Just out of curiosity how much did road noise increase going from the duelers to the AT tires? I was looking at the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's and had not considered the Falkens.

275/60/30 is 43 inches in diameter. I think you are gonna need to do more than just take small mudflap off, haha.

I actually haven’t bought them yet. Likely today. I read a lot of review about them... all really positive and they are 30perc or so cheaper than the higher ends...

That is what we run into most of the time. Most people would rather save over $50 a tire and get a great product that meets most peoples All-Terrain needs. They are very quiet as well. I love ST MAXX but sometimes its a hard sale.

I know you said you are just focused on tires at this point, but the MGM Tundras just scream for black wheels. In my opinion the chrome wheels don't look that great on the MGM. As you stated, you're doing the change mainly for looks, so jump in with both feet and go all new. You could probably sell your take-offs for $500-$700 to offset some of the cost. That being said, I put Toyo MTs on mine and they look awesome, but are loud when compared to like a KO2.

Yes they rubbed the DC from yesterday. Definitely will need to remove the small ones up front. The passenger side barely touched the rear flap.
