I had the same problem for a couple of years. I tried holding my right foot every way I could think of to stop the lurching at slow speeds on rough roads and never found anything to improve the issue.

I took a chance on this peddle and I'm glad that I did. It's much smoother on rough roads that the stock one. No more lurching and bucking over potholes when I'm moving slowly.

did you loose the top end power? i dont care about spinning my tires , I just want to control my truck. I think if I had a stiffer spring in my old one it would work great. it wasnt soft until after the recall. it actually could be a danger the way it is.

Didn't lose any top end, it just maps the acceleration differently now, smoothing out the throttle. Let's say before, when you push the pedal 30% you'd end up with 70% power, now when you push it 30%, you'd get 30% power kinda thing. Nah mean, jelly bean?

FXFormat , I installed the new pedal, It works great. I never lost a bit of power but did gain control of my truck again. it is smooth. Thanks again for sharing your experience with the new style pedal .
