So far my only regret is that it doesn't fit in my garage.

The closest I come to regret is every once in a while thinking I should have gotten a sequoia instead of my tundy, but they're so similar that it doesn't really matter. I've told my boyfriend if I can talk him into ever getting a tundra I'd get a sequoia and have best of both worlds.

I agree with backing into parking spaces - a lot easier to park straight. I have never complained about the Tundra being difficult to park; it's not that hard.

Sometimes when I'm in a congested area, with little room/parking I do wish I had gotten a Tacoma. But it quickly passes once I give it some throttle and listen to that V8.
But backing into spots is a absolute must, I feel like it should be a law.

I went from a Tacoma to the Tundra and love the size, power, and capacity but do miss the smaller size Tacoma while driving in Seattle or Portland areas.

I do miss my Tacoma sometimes. I have been throwing the idea around. We may be moving to where my commute will be about an hour. So I may eventually go back and i do miss driving a manual.

I don’t regret it as I need a truck, but I’d be in a muscle car in a heartbeat if I didn’t need a truck.

I wish I could've bought a new 2006 Tundra yes 2006 in 2017 when I bought mine. I just like the first gens much better than the third gen. The size was perfect and I like the look better.

I miss the manual in my 09 tacoma.

Every other way, nah. I enjoy the space (cab and bed) and the added power and comfort of the tundy.

I'm 6'8". I would seriously regret buying a compact truck.

But, size aside - I do regret buying THIS full size truck. Should have went with a heavy duty.

I have two 2003 Tacomas and a Tundra. They all serve their purpose. If I had to have one vehicle, it would be my Tundra.

I do miss my taco, only for it being more agile for off-roading. I might buy one as a toy and use the tundra to tow it to where I want to go off-roading.

What if the Tundra is the smaller vehicle in the fleet?

I’m only on day five with it. But nope! It’s a good fit for me. Sometimes I miss better gas mileage but I also just feel safer in a truck. I test drove an inferno Tacoma pro a week before getting the tundra. The Tacoma is too damn small. Happy with my tundy.

Realistically, A Tacoma is all the truck I need. I miss the ease of parking and better gas mileage but I don't have any regrets. I got a good deal on a used Tundra and the interior space is great for the family. Love it!!!!

Just last night had to haul stuff that would not have fit in either a Tacoma or a CM with the 5.5 bed and said to myself “now that’s why I bought a DC with the 6.5 bed!”

I’ve had lots and lots of trucks over the years and sold them for a variety of reasons either commute for work or think I just don’t need a full size Pickup anymore. Each and every time I regretted selling them.

A couple of months ago I almost traded my 2016 Tundra for a new 2020 Tacoma to "downsize". Really, I was just itching to buy something new for the pleasure of buying new toys. I was all hyped up to make the trade, but then I took an honest look at the Tacoma and determined that the back seat leg room was pathetic, engine is gutless, the gas mileage was not that much better (did the annual math on cost difference and it is not that much for me), hate the plastic bed, etc. In other words the few benefits (easier to park, etc.) did not outweigh the cons. I came from a 2014 4Runner before trading it to my Tundra and I missed the 4Runner maneuverability, but the Tundra just fits my needs better. Plus it is paid for and a great truck. To satisfy my burning desire to buy something new after I made the decision to keep my Tundra, I made some upgrades to my Tundra: Toyota LED headlights and fog lights, TRD sway bars, new offroad shocks with slight front lift, Leer tonneau, etc. Now I just need to wax the truck, which I may do this weekend.

I did briefly but being in the north east meant a flight and a long drive to get something clean. I was also limited by time. Maybe in the future I can find one.

Years ago I had a T-100 regular cab long bed, sold it and got an '07 Tundra dc which was quite the adjustment, but no regrets. When I traded my '07 in on the '14 Tundra CM I think that was more of a surprise, I had to relearn everything I thought I knew about parking.
I am down to 1 car now, traded in my IS 250 Lexus on the '19 and do miss the gas milage and a "little" run around car.

I kept my 2011 Tacoma, and it does 90% of what I need the Tundra for. Selling it would be regrettable.

I'd have bought a taco if my kids didn't have legs. There's downsides to everything. Tundras downsides are gas and parking as mentioned above. The upsides are too numerous to list. I love my truck and don't wish I bought anything else. I tend to research to the n'th degree before I buy something. I bought a tundra. It's just what you do.

    I have spoken.

My biggest truck before my tundra was a T100. Being 6'5" 320# I had gotten really really tired of hearing "why dont you get a truck you can fit in" or "that looks like a clown car". The old trucks were fantastic for me to sit in, even my 87 pickup which is tiny was great to sit in for tall people. I thought it would end with this truck but I've gotten 2 people ask me "Ive never seen a tundra, it looks like a midsized truck" I dont understand??? lol people drive me crazy. Anyways, I love my tundra. It is capable of doing anything I will ever need from a truck, I'll never have to ask anybody to borrow their truck, I can pull people out of ditches now and repay society for all the times I got yanked out, I can burn rubber if I want (Im too cheap to though) and I think it looks great too. Its thirsty, but you godda pay the cost to be the boss. Its hard to park, but now I park at the ends of the parking lot like the rest of the guys with big vehicles, so what. My wife drives a yaris, this basically makes up for my trucks thistiness, and in the summer I ride a motorcycle everywhere, which again offsets the fuel consumption.

BTW, all you americans should quit whining, your gas is cheap.

No I do not regret buying my Tundra at all and I really enjoy this truck. I have driven a couple of newer Tacomas though and I really do not like that 3.5L power train. It has no low end torque at all.
