ok I do remember vhs and cassette tapes I do remember having to take a pen and rolling the tape back in. I have messed around with my dad's old record player, messing with 45s and the 25(don't remember what the actual numbers) the number was the rpm that they got played at. The 45s were singles and the other one was a smaller number but bigger. They had the entire album on it.

I'm not saying I've experienced it. But I have always listened to my grandparents very closely when they spoke. And on several occasions they have talked about them.
Schools do actually teach about them as well. My American studies class sophomore year was American history starting in about the 1870s and covered up to the early 2000s

 

As you guys pointed out with the encyclopedia mentions, knowledge is not only spread through Google. Though it has made this generation lazier, history books are still around and well so are the previous generations, and honestly you guys are the best place to get "useful" information. When is google ever gonna tell me some valuable life experience that ended in a lesson? It's not. But you guys can. COTJ for example, talking with him, he's given me a lot of sound advice. And I honestly believe that is how all of you would be. We all have seen different things and I think learning about it will make me a better man in the long run
