When you wanted to buy something, you would have to look up a business in a big fat book called the yellow pages. The first half was actually the white pages and listed everyone's home numbers and the second half were businesses listed by category.

We had cassette tapes. And once in a while our cassette player would eat the tape. You'd have to open it up, untangle the tape, and wind it back in with a pencil.

We used to answer the phone not knowing who was calling. And before call waiting, if someone was on the phone... the line was busy.

Being the human remote control for your dad when watching tv

Only being able to use the phone when at home

Having to send and manage bills, correspondence, etc by snail mail

No Amazon all UPS with COD.

If you wanted to look at scantily clad (or no clad) women as a kid, you had to steal a playboy or use your mom's Victoria secret catalog. (No internet)

Having to build your own bike ramp with leftover fence planks and bricks

Never having to wear a helmet or ANY protective gear (there were none!)

Drinking water from the hose (shit, I still do!)

Actually going outside and entertaining yourself when your own mother locked you outside LOL

    Actually having a tan! :D:D

You didn't care how many "likes" you got on your picture!

Visiting the video store if you wanted a movie or game

    Paying cash for delivery pizza

    $0.75 for gas

Knowing which service company was good by word of mouth and not yelp reviews

We actually used to have Full Service at a gas station. Where some dude would sit there and put in gas for you and sometimes clean your windows.
