Got caught once making/setting off little bombs as a kid with my brother and friends (blowing up our GI Joe toys) and instead of going to jail, the cops brought us to our parents and explained the dangers of doing something that stupid. Now? Hello felony.

I believe 1980 or 81 was the end for gen x. So you are a millenial in denial. Bet you don't remember when bias ply tires were all there was. I remember my dad and his buddies talking about the crazy new radial tires. There was a big debate over whether or not radials were safe. Running around on those half flat things just couldn't be right. I think that was somewhere around 1972.

 

Remember when minimum wage was $2.65 an hour. That's what it was when I got my first job other than baby sitting and mowing lawns. I was a freshman in high school then. It was ok to baby sit at ten back then. Now you can't leave your kids alone till what, 13?

Lol. I'm a Millennial and almost every single thing listed in this thread is a thing Millennials experienced in their childhoods, considering most of this stuff was around in the 80s and 90s and lasted up till around 2006. VHS? Yes. Rotary phones? Yep. Dial-up Internet? You betcha.
