You guys listen to the radio? I've never lived anywhere that has remotely interesting radio stations. I didn't even realize my truck had an antenna until I noticed it was banging around on some branches off-roading yesterday. Gotta pull it off and find a plug to keep water out.

Did my first Tundra "mod" today. Love the look of the new antenna.

Just wanted to vouch for @TheAntennaSource my stubby came apart and Zach responded in a couple hours to an email and offered up to ship a replacement out no charge. Def will do business with them again

Not sure why I didn't think about emailing them when it happened to mine. Limb clipped it and snapped right off. I never even found it. Just the part still screwed into the base. I recently ordered their new one which is a little more flexible. Hopefully it will hold up better.

Have you installed it yet? Curious about the reception.

My short antenna is awful. I barely get any stations and the HD radio cuts in and out way too often.

It’s installed. I mainly bought it for appearance; love how it looks. To be honest, I’m not real sure about the reception because I mostly listen to XM or Amazon Music while I’m driving. Having Alexa and Amazon Music in the truck is great.
I will say that my HD weather works pretty well, have only had a few instances of it dropping out. HD traffic never works, but I don’t think it’s available really outside of your more major metro areas, which N. Alabama is not.

I've had the 6 inch antenna for almost 2 years now and not one issue and the reception is great! lost track of how many car washes it's been through and it's still there!

I can say the 3" reception is very poor, sit lower than the hood which I suspect is causing poor reception. looks awesome but then again we use Spotify family plan.

I think stock is 31" but double check !
this one is 27". I have an overhead ceiling storage rack and the 27" doesn't hit it.
I can't tell the difference as far as am/fm. Quality also seems to be very good!

I just replaced my shorty with this and it’s a night and day difference. Clarity and range like it’s supposed to have. I bought my truck with a lot of aftermarket stuff on it and the longer I have it the more it goes back to stock. Lol I’m also replacing my bilstein shock/struts to KYB replacements next week and going back to oem tires.

Thanks. I have the issue of it hitting the garage door when I pull in.

    Not nearly enough room here!
0425151408.jpg Bought a Fire Stick antenna several years ago for my 2010. Reception is as good as stock and 'looks' like a much sturdier item but ain't a "stubby".

Yep. I moved from chicago to Dallas. The stations up there were pretty awful.
Here though with the HD signal the tundra picks up I get a lot of great stations! I think about 15 I have on preset and all but one or two I listen to regularly if I’m on a long drive. I tend to scroll through stations a lot cuz I’m impatient I guess. Classical to country (what they call country now at least ) to edm is all available :)

I purchased the 6" premium version two weeks ago and it was horrible. I had to
drive 3miles from my house to get any decent reception.i had the 13" before that and it was ok.
