Is it fitty? Or 50? Either way the cyber truck would need a cool grill before he’d roll through the hood in it. And probably some double D’s instead of double A’s

Neither does Toyota. None of them care about the trucks they make; only the trucks they sell to dealers.

I put my $100 down. I love Toyota but their gas mileage is a joke and they're honestly losing my interest. Elon is not afraid to take risks and do his own thing, majority opinion be hanged. I respect that. Seems it's catching, too.

I’m just really surprised after seeing the cars they’ve made that the truck looks that far out. In person it might be cool enough to get beyond the wedge. Hell I remember when the 93 Camaros and Firebirds came out and thinking how it would be to get in an accident with a wedge shaped car like that and I’ll just say it went as I thought it would, Popped a Chevy blazer up in the air and of course it came down halfway up my hood. Oops.

I wasn't surprised at all. Elon flat out said in multiple interviews over a year ago that he wanted the truck to look like something from the future or straight out of movies like Blade Runner and Tron; and that he knows the majority of people wouldn't like his vision for the appearance of it but didn't care. He's a man of his word and isn't afraid to push the boundaries, which is why he's so successful.

How pathetic is it that we’re designing vehicles to compensate for people that don’t pay attention and walk out in traffic? I’d design a boxing glove the size of a truck bed that senses pedestrians and weather or not they are paying attention before crossing the road and if not it punches them into the next county. Might be a big hit lol

...That tows 14k and goes 0-60 in 2.9 while driving itself. Not sure if it qualifies for TRUCK GANG just yet but I’d call it a truck.

It can tow 56,000 bottles of astroglide. That'll come in handy...;)

No doubt! But thank goodness someone else did:
    https://rivian.com/r1t/
    https://www.autoguide.com/auto-news...ruck-looks-so-legit-has-impressive-specs.html

The Rivian R1T looks pretty tough... with 11k towing capacity and 0-60 in 3 seconds... However, I'll stick with my gas guzzler until they can work out the kinks over at Toyota.

That’s good news even though I prefer trusty KY. We’re gonna need all those bottles of Astro glide though as it bending our trucks over in every category

Actually, I was very much interested in Rivian. With Tesla coming out, Rivian truck looks underwhelming now. Slower, tows less, hauls less, and no stainless body, and their cheapest one is the same price as the most expensive Cybertruck. They have to up their game, imo. I would choose function over the 'beauty' any day.

Agreed. I think they got blind-sided. The Rivian is a sweet looking ride, though.

I liked the Rivian looks, but it is the size of a Tacoma. That killed it for me.

Yeah... no! It’s bullet proof... it’s self driving... it’s got a bullet proof lockable bed cover and renamed the bed... ‘The Vault’... I am so very disappointed. You’re fixing problems I don’t have. Like... what do you think we’re doing with our truck? We’re bailing hay and plowing our driveway and going fishing... but I guess if I ever need to drive through a battle zone with my hands free to shoot back... instead of bullet proof go for rodent proof because... yeah the wires that connect everything on that truck are covered in a soy based material to be eco friendly.... and also delicious.

I bet dollars to Cheerios my mechanic isn’t going to get within ten feet of it.

Not to mention it just plain looks so stupid I can’t even take it seriously.
