    Dropped mine off this morning for an application of Opticoat and will pick it up tomorrow. Had the 3M film put on the (nose) grill, bumper, headlights and the mirrors and door cups 2 weeks ago. Also getting a new 3 year rated windshield coating as well. They are also putting in a 3,000 ft remote start and wired under bed rail lights also. I'll post pics after picking it up.

    I know I'm excited for you. Hopefully my week gets better before then. On Monday we had a main break I had to fix on straight time. Today I had to go to urgent care because I got blasted in my eyes, nose, and mouth with straight liquid chlorine. Man that shit burns. I'm ok but damn, not a good start to the week. Only positive I got sent home paid today. Hopefully things get better before a d on your special day.

    Yeah it's not the 1st time and I'm sure it won't be the last. Thankfully I knew to keep my eyes closed so all the shit on my face didn't creep into my eyes. I just kept them shut until a co worker guided the blind guy to the sink so I could wash most of it off within 30 seconds. Heres what it did to my sweatshirt in seconds, when it hits it instantly removes the color. Unfortunately it's kinda part of the job. Blindness, collapsed lungs, walls caving in on ya 10 feet under the street, it's great, just another day.

    I picked up a CR Spotless kit and am very pleased with it. Almost a necessity with how big these trucks are. You rinse it off and don’t have to dry it, no water spots. I still use a leaf blower to dry it off but it’s isnt imperative. About a year on my coating now and still looks like the day I picked it up. 3AFE57B3-75BA-4FAC-B926-33B17890CCD6.jpg

    I just got back about 15 minutes ago from picking it up and I am stoked. The guy I connected with doing this is a true artist and craftsman and this work is truly his passion. He works out of his van and at local automotive speciality shops and his overhead is low.

    He took his Mini cooper 4 years ago and treated different parts of that vehicle with 6 different products from different manufactures and uses it to show people the differences over time for each as he has labeled which part of the car has what applied to it. The driver door has no coating to demonstrate that as well. Most people won't and or don't do that level of R&D research. He's been doing this for close to a decade now and travels around the country to all the national shows in addition to being on Air Force One detail team that voluntarily details the original Air Force one in the Seattle museum each year along with 50 to 60 or so designated detailers from around the country for a week each year. He details voluntarily for the air museum here in Hartford CT as well. He spent easily 8 plus hours total plus the cost of the opti-coat pro and that whole part of the detail cost me 700.00 cash. Easily what other places want 1400.00 to 2000.00 for the same. This guy is a detail guru. Knows the chemistry and the many of the companies chemists for most all of the products for ceramic coating, waxing, cleaners and conditioners. Bringing my wife 2016 Rav4 to him next week for the same for 600.00ish cash. It's a no-brainer.
