Where Alma is it gets REALLY cold. When I was up there it was in the low 20s (the sin wasn't even down all the way at that point either....then calculate the wind chill in)....I don't blame @Almaboy at all.

PSH! Thats why you close the garage and turn on one of these bad boys! We run 4 of these in our back shop to warm it up during the winter.

Yeah, when sin is up = hot. When sin is down = cold.

False, I don't own a single pair of pants. haha. And the only reason I wasn't in a tank top and flip flops was because I was at work. haha.

    OK.....

So, my SP was at the door when I got home and am contemplating switch plate location. @sdhq_offroad says the sunglasses flip down compartment mount will be ready "in the next 6 weeks or so." Do I bank on this and run my switch there, or do I find another location that might look gay in my DC without center console?

Hmmmm...what to do, what to do

Any suggestions from the peanut gallery would be appreciated

I would put it in the sunglasses holder. Even if they don’t make it you can always go to s stereo shop and they can fabricate a fiberglass holder. My vote is sunglass holder!

You can but you would need to do some relay work. and wiring... I wouldn't do it if I were you. You need a relay to break the contact from the SP when you use your high beam and another contact to activate your lights. Anything is possible with relays and wires but the question is do you want to complicate it. KISS.. keep it simple stupid

If I have to ask so many different ways and keep getting the same answer, then I probably shouldn't screw with it

I think you can do that with just 4 relays, 2 triggered by the high beams, 2 triggered by the SP so they cancel each other out so you don't get the voltages mixing.. so its not impossible.. you just need to know relay logic.

Welp there you go. Seriously, there’s no where else to mount it but there. Sdhq will come through soon.

Sorry mark I got sucked into a hair braiding contest with my wife...
lol I was blunt becaus I don’t want you to run your brights tied in with the squadrons.. for a few good reasons.
1 you have switch pro with a 8 switches..use em!
2 having them wired independently gives your full control-not sure if you would like to control em together ALL the time
3 if you want to control em all together I would recommend to relay it.. maybe another option might be add a fuse?if we have a fuse for hi’s only.
4 you have a switch pro with 8 switches.. use em ***
5 benefits of independent controls is Hi beam flash at night can mean just your middle finger.. hit the pro’s and you are now trying to hurt some feelings..

But in all seriousness, I would avoid that extra wiring for sure.. stick to the switch pro. Maybe put it on switch 1 for quick acesss instead of hunting for it somewhere in the middle of the switchpanel.
