ATS & 1stGenOffroad orders are in. The 5100's already showed up from AutoAnything today, they must've been sitting in a warehouse up the road a piece.

Looks like I'm doing intermittent fasting to reduce my grocery bill for the rest of the month.... :spending:

“And these come with the coilovers assembled?”
    “Yes”

“So assuming a lead time for assembly elections here are in stock though?”
“Yes they should ship within a week.”

I guess see if you can drop those off at an off road shop, and have them assemble them for you. ..

I don't want to fuck with any kinds of spring compressors.

    Did you pay for assembly?

They told him they would be assembled. That's on them. AA has great CS though. I bet if he calls they will give him a credit to have a shop do this or they will offer to refund them completely.

I can't recreate the checkout process now, and I'll be honest I did it so many times on different sites testing things I can't genuinely tell you who I saw the options on and who I didn't. I DO know that I did a Live Chat with Michael L and asked about that and shipping timeframes. Positive enough answers to get me to pull the trigger same day.

I have no experience with live chat as I do all my ordering after the sun has set.

Sounds like you'll get US taken care of if you give them a call.

Give Rocky Top Customz a call and see what they would charge to install the springs. That's who I've used in the past and they were always very reasonable. That's also who I'd recommend for the alignment once we finish.

Okay, so Toytec has the assembled, in stock, ready to ship for $1725 with the spanner wrench. Might not ship out yet today, but at least would be on a truck my way by Tuesday. These are adjustable from 0-3" in the front and 0"-1.5" in the back.

Should've just done this to begin with but @FirstGenTundra was all, "noooo you don't need anything fancy. My name's Erik have you heard the good word about Fluid Film?"

@FirstGenVol Fiscally responsible JPink wants to drop off there and pay them $100 to assemble, they can do it sometime next week. Childish JPink wants to buy Icons and send these back to AA.

Told him I'd call him Tuesday and let him know what time I'm dropping them off.

Like I mentioned, I would call or chat with AA, tell them what happened and my guess is that they will offer you money back towards assembly. $100 is more than I was expecting but I guess everything is high right now. We still have 4 weeks before we start the install which is also plenty of time for you to order another 10-15 cans of fluid film.

I’m okay with the price. It’s at least an hour of his labor, insurance, tools to assemble a part he didn’t sell. Throw in the Stupid Tax on top and we got $100.

Opened up the boxes. Look like everything else is in it. Came direct from manufacturer. I’m going to assume they delivered what they sold and it was a breakdown in chat. If they don’t give me anything I’m still $500 less than Icons.

Unless someone says the Icons would be worth the $500 difference I will let RTC assemble next week locally.

If you're mostly sticking to pavement, I don't think you'd benefit from the Icons.

Not in the spring here in the mid-western mess of roads after a good winter. More potholes than flat road sometimes!

I just went through the front end on my '01 this weekend. Pretty much the same question. I went with the 6112's as well. Firmer ride and the factory setting at position 1/2 already provides 1 1/4" of lift. I went with MOOG control arms/ball joints/and sway bar link kits.

The 6100's incorporate 1 1/4" of lift at setting #1. I wasn't necessarily looking for lift when I upgraded mine this weekend, but my problem was the coils needed to be replaced and the 6112's were readily available. I will say I'm glad I went with them because that lift leveled the truck out nicely.
