Pinch those in. May be a small flat head to squeeze it in (that’s what she said)

You got good advice OP. Take the truck to a knowledgeable mechanic and have the fuel tank and components disassembled, drained and properly cleaned. If you don’t want to risk any damage, don’t run it. Once you run it you risk running contaminants throughout the entire injection system. Like marriage, or any relationship for that matter, it’ll get really expensive if you don’t do it right the first time.

If it was me I would of got a pneumatic vacuum and sucked out what I could see and called it good. The "sugar in a gas tank" hurting the engine or fuel tank/ lines is just a myth. Any in the gas tank would just sit there until the day the crusher flattens it. If you want to dissolve the sugar just take your garden hose and flush your tank out, lol.

Cannot give advice about relationships I’m not good at it but I am good with sugar seen this a couple times at work good thing well could had been worst she used raw sugar so those are crystals better than granulated sugar so it’s probably stuck in the tube and she didn’t use a lot I seen a 2 pound bag in a tank lol you didn’t start the truck great but it would not had been sucked thru the fuel pump strainer anyways sugar does not dissolve in fuel you need to run hot water thru the tank so I would drop the tank drain the fuel and fill it with hot water then put a hose on the exhaust of another car and run the carbon monoxide in your tank to dry it out then install everything back together get it back on the road locking Fuel cap helps prevent sugar but not broken windows good luck ✌️
