Stillen Intake folks...where you at? TP403210 TP403211

Two weeks ago.

 

I've been lurking this thread to see and hope for a positive outcome for you 3rd gen's. It's unfortunate this is happening especially since it's been acknowledged by Stillen that there were issues. Brianna was the face of Stillen for this community and recently worked on becoming an official vendor on here and now this happened I think the worst part is that no other reps have been on here since to provide updates. Maybe they are not as brave as @BriannaSTILLEN

I still think you should go pay them a visit in person @eddiefromcali since your close enough. It's a good chunk of money that you spent to justify a visit.

 

I sent an email to STILLEN, included a link to this thread. We’ll see if I get a reply.

I get it, the fix here is not something that can occur overnight especially if they’re modifying molding tools (depending how these are molded to begin with). But, communication is free, and easy. They should be doing that…. Especially considering the product was released and sold (and still for sale) essentially as a beta tester version.

 

Call and let them know. Over 2 weeks since the last update....a month since we reported the issues. An ETA should be available by now, this is nonsense

I could be off here but it seems like alot of complaints or concerns but noone has called them?

I'd go but we have a wildfire going on right now. Was evacuated Friday around 1am and got back later that day....been a shit show since...21k acres with sub 5% containment.

Are they just not answering or returning calls? I'm just wondering if there is something causing a delay....phone outage, vacation (I would think they would have posted that), etc.....although I think someone just placed an order last week and said it shipped.

 

I called and spoke with someone....lots of gum flapping....zero results. "Sorry, people got sick, please be patient, we appreciate it, working at it, should have something soon"

No solid eta, no updates since then. I asked early on if this was a month or two ordeal...Briana did not answer that question when asked. The vacation delay was used early on already.

I see the frustration now. It sucks when noone has answers. Morimoto put quite a few in that situation a couple of years ago when they said they weren't releasing a tail light for the 14-21's. They said they were coming soon. Months later they said nothing was in the works at all. Then all of a sudden they were released.

 

Called and was told Austin is the lead for this. Left a vm. If you call, ask for him

 

FYI, Brianna is no longer with Stillen. Austin has some days off due to a family emergency. No other updates other than he will be stepping in for Brianna for now, once he returns.

At this point, they’re not going to honor a return and a small discount once everything is in order?

since they continue to sell this product knowing it has issues, are we sure they are gonna make any revisions? just wondering why keep pumping a bad design?

All I know is the transaction for my Stillen was real smooth with Brianna. Wish her the best.

 

Yeah, doubt she had anything to do with the design and horrible release.

 

Best thing to do would be to get your $ back since this intake will really provide no performance or efficiency benefits.

Yeah, I didn't end up buying mine direct through Brianna(since I couldn't) but every response from her was pleasant.

 

We hope to see Brianna still be a member of this community.

 

Out of the country for 2 more weeks. Looks like I’ll have to deal with this when I get back. Extremely disappointed to say the least
