I had those on my truck right after I bought it. They were fine from a functionality standpoint but I just never liked the look of them.

Then I got Tyger Star Armor. I like them a lot, however my wife despised them.

So I found some Nfab nerf bars and those worked pretty well, both aesthetically and functionally, but the drop steps were rock magnets.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered real sliders from White Knuckle Off Road and think I’m finally done with this saga...

I sprung for the Amp Research, fantastic look and guests love them. The led lighting looks nice as well.

    Not nearly enough room here!
They help a lot when loading/unloading stuff from the bed + I like the finished look.

Those look great, I assume that's the powder coat? How are they holding up?

I've been running these Rough Country DS2 Steps on my Tundra , kinda feel in love with em , only thing that really drives me crazy with them is the texture is hard to clean. At some point I will probably remove all but the foot step texture and paint match them.

but the have been serving their purpose quite well for getting in and out easy , especially with having a plate in my ankle these's days during the cold months. Is one of the reasons I jumped on getting them couldn't bare it any more. I would like to goto actual sliders if they are good steps also or fab up stealth sliders and remount the steps to them instead of the factory step mounting location.

definitely a step that you have to side step a whole foot on parallel with the truck not a toes only step. (Only photo on new phone can post more later)

I've had the same ones (in all black) for a year and I'm still happy with them. I really prefer the full board style, their especially useful when wrangling a toddler into a rear facing car seat.

Been running the AMP research steps for about 10 years now. I love them, my driver side motor went out at the beginning of this year and I had both motors replaced.
