    Wild to think that 4k barely gets you out of mall crawler status. Mid grade suspension/tires/labor has you nearly there. Add in a Pro grill for fancy pants and you are done!

    Haha yep. I came in here with an oh shit - this guy is about to deck it out. Then remembered what 4k got me last build... a slightly above average commuter vehicle that made it to work on snow days!

    My OME front coil overs/rear shocks+ install (I got over 3" of lift)= $1036

    ToyTec shackle = $140

    Body Armor Rock Steps (quite beefy) = $300 Amazon (list $491)

    Coopers + install = $1500

    FN rims (special Sean deal) = $600

    Optima Yellow = $250 installed

    $3826 total. I take my Tundra out in all kinds of good time wheeling here in CO. Definitely not a mall crawler. Less than $4K but requires some shopping around and CraigsList. Of course I'd like UCA upgrade, skids, locker. All are nice to have but not needed for most wheeling I do, but I will upgrade at some point. Just makes wheeling easier on the truck. Remember I'm not running in the Baja 1000.
