For almost a year now Ecobee3lite and 2 room sensors, kit from Costco, no issues. I like being able to call out on our Alexa devices to adjust temp. I forgot to set it on vacation last time we left and did it remotely.

Not a fan of the learning Nest, our family has unpredictable home times.

I enjoyed Honeywell’s thermostats and “RedLink” interface when I had it at my previous place. I’m still kinda old school so I have these thermostats tied with a lovely Trol-A-Temp zone system. As stated before by a fellow AC tech, I also have a 5 ton heat pump with nothing too fancy other than an ECM motor inside the air handler.

Been running nest 3 for about 5 months now. My opinion is that it's an excellent piece of kit and with cashback from the energy company it only cost about $80

I have the newest version of the nest. The “learning” model. It’s been awesome. Tells me the weather and I can control it from my phone from anywhere.

Can we connect all thermostats in one? Is it possible to operate it from only one application of thermostats?

I like what your saying. This simmer I left my programable alone set at 71 24/7 and the house has been awesome vs last year when I had the damn thing programed to change temps when I was out of the house. I want to rip my POS programable out and get a non programmable one like you mentioned which one do you recommend ?

I leave ours set on hold, the best use for it is when we are away for the weekend or on vacation. we can run the schedule or put it back on hold before coming home.

I can also monitor when my wife is home and decides to crank it down to 65. I can fix that cash burner quick and in a hurry.
