I saw that Pioneer unit. Looks cool, but no Sirius XM....gotta have my Octane, Turbo, and Ozzy's boneyard. Also looking at the new 11" Alpine, since I put all Alpine speakers in the doors and dash corners with the Alpine sub/amp combo under the passenger's seat.

    Keep it.
Just do more mods, it would be more cost effective.

Which seat warmers did you get? Was the install a pain?

oh Alpine has a 11" unit ? that would be nice in the Tundra especially with carplay maps. I have a 7" alpine and it's a bit small.

Just went dealership and looked a lot pretty 2020 trd pro, grey basic, no options, with a dealer installed lift kit and 35 inch tires. 65000, they have lost their damn minds.

That new Halo looks super nice too.

Just a heads up tho, it doesn’t have Sirius XM built in either. Both it and the Pioneer need the separate tuner. Or isn’t there an app you can use?

Here are the ones I used. You will need two. I put them in my last tundra as well. It not hard just pay attention to what you take loose when you are pulling off the leather. You will need hog rings to replace the ones you cut. I think it took me about 3 hours start to finish this time but I had done it before. I did take some pics when I did my first truck. If you decide to try it let me know and I’ll send them to you.

I have a 2019 platinum and my favorite part is the leather seats. I was between a PRO and a Platinum as well. Chose the Plat cause of all the creature comforts then slapped some methods, coopers and icons on it, now it’s a Platinum Pro.

To answer your question... The only regret would be financial but if you got that covered then why not.

Not sure what you have for open switch spots in your lower dash, but if you have two open blanks, then these are an option too

You can probably buy the front seats from a platinum for less than you will lose selling your truck

    Lol.
I went the other way. I had originally ordered a19 Platinum then called the dealership and told them to change it to the Pro. The look of the grill and the stamped bedside's swayed me.

I love my 20 Platinum but wouldn't have cried if I ended up with a PRO. They are both super bad ass. Win/Win either way.

Considering getting the Super White 2020 Pro now. Then putting on the Westcott Designs Pro kit with Coachbuilder +1 shackles, the SDHQ hidden winch mount, and Toyo M/Ts in 285/75/18.

Isn't it basically the same truck.... With some added stuff you can add yourself. Bro just keep it and enjoy it you have a beast of a truck or wait for the newer models to come out may be they have something different.

Uhhhh... yes, it does have Sirius/XM. At least my 8500NEX does, and it's an older model. Also has wireless carplay. You do have to get a separate tuner for the Sirius/XM, but I think that's standard with all of them.

if money isn't really a concern do it and make what you want. oem features are solid and generally built to last except for the sound system. stock jbl, premium sound system, etc. is not premium at all. they need to hire JRT tech12volts to help them design a good system. i also don't care for the any of the stock running boards. easy to swap out tho. get a supercharger too it is by far the mod that has had me smiling for 10yrs.

i totally get and understand that bored feeling.

I was having the same discussion with myself. Wanted to go 2019 for 2020 (1794 for TRD Pro), but in the end am going to put in a new head unit with wireless Android Auto, install a passive key system, and buy a TRD Pro steering wheel...and probably vinyl over the faux wood! All of that will be probably $2k, vs. the $14k to buy a 2020 with less features than the new head unit and passive key system.

    Whatever makes ya happy though!

I bought a 2019 pro, brand new in February but the dealership couldn’t release it to me due to a stop sale caused by the fuel pump recall.... 5 months later and I ended up “swapping” the sale to a 2020 platinum...I couldn’t be happier having all of the extra creature comforts! Rims and lifts are easy enough to add to make it your own anyways.
