So when I refer to warped rotors, I simply mean either one or multiple rotors that have an uneven surface. Basically what you said but in 2 words rather than a novel.

Then you should say what you mean. If you refer to a rotor that has pad build up as a warped rotor, then that is reflective of your lack of knowledge. It is NOT a warped rotor, and by saying so, you spread disinformation. Clearly you needed a novel to understand the terminology. Use your words, the CORRECT words… it’s helpful for everyone else.

Let me repeat what I stated above ...I refer to a warped rotor as one that has an uneven surface. That is it. I never said anything about pad build up, you did. If you're going to come on here and act like you know it all, then may I suggest you go bother someone else because at this point, you're an annoying little gnat to me.

I once read a 40+ pages of brakes & rotor discussion on a reputable car website with many experts and am still confused.

They were discussing if over/under tightening the lug nuts can cause "warped" rotors ... iirc, there were no consensus. I think it depends on the car/design but kind of recall most saying No!

Is there a universal yes or no answer without having to read another 40 pages?

And yet you continue to show your ignorance.. I was nice and helpful. You STILL do not understand that a warped rotor is different that an uneven surface.. you are a moron and a tool. Sorry that you can’t understand basic English and phrasing. I’ll be here later if you need clarification…. Tool.

Dude, please just go away. You have added literally zero value to this thread and continue to write gibberish nonsense.
