SCS F5 vs Gen5, it's time to vote!!!

Mine arrived last night and look great. Want to get these on ASAP, but still need to find tires and get the lift installed. This wait is going to be worse than the wait for the wheels to hit production lol

 

Sold my Ray 10’s before I installed them. Wanted the F5’s more.

 

Admiring my westcott lift to go with my bronze F5’s.

 

Man, I'm liking the 285s. Sometimes 295s look stuffed to me. Hmmmmm....

 

Yeah I think I’m going to stay with the 285’s to see how they look on the F5’s. But I have time to decide if I change them out.

 

I love the look of the Ray 10 but burnt out on the beadlock ring. Wish the Blaze 10’s were available, but always loved the simplicity of the 5’s (had a set on my old 4runner).

 

I started bugging Vin about making the F5 for the Tundras a few days after I bought mine in 2018. I really like the Ray 10 with the exception of the fake beadlock look. I got my F5’s mounted today and I love them.

 

Looks great! My truck is silver as well and I was debating gunmetal or bronze.

 

Thanks, I went gunmetal but SCS bronze is a pretty color as well. Either will look great. The gunmetal is definitely darker than the silver, I was hoping it was dark enough that I didn’t end up with the “close but not quite a match” look.
I’ve got a coworker with the SR8 in bronze on a white truck and the SCS bronze tone is awesome.

Those are 295/70, I originally wanted 285/75 but back in January when I got those the 285’s were backordered (and $15-18 more per tire). The 295 is about a 1/2 inch shorter and 1/2 inch wider but also much easier to find if anything happens to one.

Love the F5s. Mounted on 295’s. I have not painted my hubs yet. They will show with these wheels. So for now on the rear it’s rust color.

 

Note, that she is running 1.5" spacers all around.

35’s with 1.5 spacer, Wow! Her Tundra looked good with the SR8’s but looks even better with the F5’s.

 

Quick question for those who have bought these wheels...I have a 2019 and want to put new TPMS sensors on my F5s. What is the part number for the correct TPMS sensors?

Awesome!! I cannot see the size tire. Curious. I have Nitto’s also. I just had my Westcott lift added. Your tires look like they really fill the wheel wells up.

The bronze definitely looks awesome on the LunaRock color.

 

Just mounted the 35/12.5 BFG KO2s. Yes there is slight rubbing on the driver side plastic in reverse but that can be corrected. I have a set of Falcon tow/haul shocks set at level with a 1" Coachbuilder shackle and Coachbuilder Bumper shims. Stock Upper Control Arms.

 

Dude that looks awesome. I am looking into myself with the white letters but looking at other sizes in white letters what I can find.

A lot of guys have just received these. Some have not put them on yet. They just released the F5’s for the tundra.

 

Looks awesome! My tires should be at the shop today and scheduled to have them mounted on Saturday. Probably going to remove the little front spats as a precaution and hope for no additional rubbing or clearance issues elsewhere.

Which load rating do the 18” F5s for our trucks have? It says 2100-2500lb.
