Going to look at 2006 Limited for $10,700 this weekend. Should I be worried about this service report?

I have to ask.. Did you just NEVER crawl up under your truck and look? How did you not know this until recently? Truly curious.

I’d say that’s a truck to avoid. Especially for that kind of money.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't want to hijack the thread, so Moderator let me know if I should start new, but since these are the rust experts I'd like your opinon on the following opportunity. 2004 Doublecab Sr5 4x4 192k. $7,900 and used dealer will replace the timing belt if I put a deposit on it. I'm thinking yes mainly due to the lack of any rust for it's age. This is the drivers side looking forward and back. Passenger side looks the same. My other concern is the oil pressure at idle after 15 minute ride is literally a needle width (like 1/16 inch) above the low mark. I found a thread on here saying low gauge is normal and 4-5 psi warm engine, but does anyone else have a needle that low? Thanks.

That frame from your pics looks good. I wouldn't worry if it all looks that good.

Make sure the in/backside of that C-frame area you picture is not rotted. Thats where the cross member ties in. If its ok, and you buy it, load those holes and the overlapping frame joints with a grease needle. Really load it up, create a grease dam/seal, and then spray some PB penetrant into that grease goo on a periodic basis. Keeps the rust at bay and contaminants from entering.
