Buc-cees is the best. Hands down. Never thought a gas station would become a highlight of a road trip, but we kill an hour there every time we go to SA, Austin, or Dallas.

Even saw a billboard for them near Pensacola Florida. “Cleanest restrooms in the world, 900 miles.” These guys were advertising a gas station in Florida, that you wouldn’t see until almost San Antonio.

Worst case, buy some dry ice and put it on the bottom of your cooler

All of their accessories were on sale too so I ended up ordering the basket and divider also.

Yeti RTIC is basically the same cooler. I got both RTIC coolers for 40% off and free shipping.

The coolers were originally designed for hunters going off grid for weeks at a time and needing to keep ice and perishables frozen/cold without replenish of ice. I would get which ever one you can get cheaper. Just pick one up and you'll see why they insulate so well.

The 20 next to the 65 for comparison. The 20 is complete overkill IMO you really don't need a small cooler like that with so much insulation, it is too small for extended stays and if your just taking a six pack out for a pic nix any cooler will do in that size.

This. I have an RTIC soft 30. Great for carrying as a day cooler for the beach. 8-10 good beers, drinks for the kids and lunches. Plus the “fanny pack” attachment is great for keys phones wallets etc.

    I have a yeti Tundra 75 and roadie 20

All 3 coolers work as advertised and perform their best if pre-chilled.

I have a Bison, got a good deal on it and it is a true 75qts inside vs the Yeti or RTIC. It has held ice for 5 days down on the TX coast in August. I did just get a Yeti Hopper2 30 for under $200 on Facebook Marketplace. It had only been used once and the seller still had the tags and receipt. it was originally $350 but when talking to the seller it sounded like she was not happy her husband made that purchase and after sitting unused for 6 months decided she just wanted to get some money back.

Another cooler that has been getting good reviews is Maluna (www.maluna.com). Started as a Kickstarter last year and now in full production and introducing new size and coolers. Everyone on FB that has one raves about them. I am waiting for them to come out with the 110 QT that is rumored and will buy theat when available.

I'm due for a decent cooler. For my needs the RTIC seems sufficient.

I think they are positioning themselves to take over America - not that I would have any complaints. We were looking for something to eat last night and almost went to Subway but then I remembered Buc-cees and picked up a couple of made-to-order fajita tacos and sandwiches. Freakin’ awesome. If they stacked apartments on top of their buildings I’d sell my house and move there.

A 20 size cooler is great for keeping deer/elk hearts, livers, brains chilled at the hunting camp. Yummy stuff to eat fresh at the camp.

Just pulled my cooler out of the truck, it’s been in there since Tuesday. The 32oz Gatorade bottles are a little less than half froze and my drinks and pineapple are still cold

I ordered the tan 110 back on November 9th. After a lengthy back order, I received it last Wednesday. The thing is a tank. Super well built. Probably wont have a report on it until summer, but as of now it looks every bit as well built as the Yeti.
