Lack of traction bars is causing axle wrap so your pinion angle is going to shit under acceleration.

Don't believe me, put a go pro on it and watch the pinion angle go to hell under acceleration. That creates very unhappy u joints. Which then makes all kinds of vibration, eventually premature failure.

I don't disagree with your statement i have seen some videos. Lets focus on what has changed in the last 2 weeks. The truck was smooth when i drove it in for shocks. they replaced a wheel bearing and emergency brake and now its jacked up. So its either the new 2.5 shocks are bad or the other work that was done. I have a hard time believing that the new shocks have changed the geometry to cause this, but that is why i am asking for input. I ask RC if there is a difference between the 4.5" lift and 6" lift and they said they are the same other than the rear blocks. The 4.5" kit had strut spacers and the new vertex shocks eliminate that with the strut design. They said the front height should be 28" from center of hub to bottom of fender which it was and 28 3/4 in the rear which it is. I had the shop lower the coils in the front per RC recommendation in case they were set to high. Nothing has changed the issues.

Carrier bearing could be shot, but again 2 weeks ago all was well until new shocks were installed and rear axle was removed.

The shop pulled the drive shaft and said no weights were missing and the u joints look new. He didnt want to change the carrier bearing but lowered it some more per RC recommendation. That didnt fix the issue.

Different shocks affect the axle wrap because they are valved differently so that changes the geometry from previous set up, plus the carrier bearing location changed. You have a driveshaft angle issue when accelerating.

So would that be associated to the popping and creaking ? or the drive line vibration above 55 mph ? Its smooth driving in town but thats where i hear the popping and creaking. I tried to upload a video that has the noise but this platform doesnt allow for that.
