Rough Country 6 inch lifted struts

    So I installed my driver side only and was moving to the passenger when I realized the turd tire shop cross threaded not 1 but 2 Lugnuts on my front passenger wheel. So yes, I am running Rough Country set-up on one side and old pro-comp on the other. The Rough Country appears to be smoother. They just finished putting new studs in so I will be doing the passenger side tonight. Nothing like cross threaded Lugnuts to slow you down!

    Hey jus ordered a preloaded set and the top hat is not slanted like the spacers are so I having mounting issues ,can anyone help ? Plus it's labor day weekend so can't get ahild of rough country until Tuesday

    If u can see pics ,because there is no slant at the top of strut the lower strut mount on lca is way off, any one that has installed the preloaded 6 in struts?was there a slant on the top of strut mount? Can't find info on that anywhere. Any help appreciate, aloha

    Did you figure it out? If not loosen the top three nuts to give yourself some play. You will most likely like my self have to place a Chester bar between the lower control arm an the bottom of the shock and add some pressure so that the LCA opens up for the shock to slide in the LCA cradle

    Yea I tried that but it feels like the amount of pressure that I put bending it that way is gonna give premature failure, it's a pretty far gap, pic is with LCA jacked all the way up to where normal ride would be

    I don't know if u can see the angle on the top of spacers from pic but the new shocks don't have that angle
