I have the SDHQ fenders and bedsides, together they are ~$1300, shipping will vary and isn't cheap. If you are handy you might be able to install them yourself, but if you are like me you'll pay someone to do it for you. Paint costs will vary widely and for me was more than the cost of the fenders.

I'm ok to do bodywork on a beat up track car, not something like this, can you get trd pro stampings?

I'm not aware of any company selling fiberglass bedsides with the TRD PRO stamp in it, but I'm pretty sure that I've seen somewhere that someone did it themselves. I'm sure that if you went to a good bodyshop that had sufficient fiberglass experience they could do it for you. @831Tun is pretty skilled with fiberglass and I think he knows how they could accomplish it. It's just time and money.

Fiberwerx, McNeil Racing, and ADV are the other companies I can remember off the top of my head that sell fiberglass fenders for the Tundra.

I believe ADV now offers the Pro stamp in their bedsides.
BTW, If you're gonna pay someone to install and paint figure $5-6K

Oh that's cool that ADV is doing that now and it's only a $250 option which I'm sure is a lot less than having a body shop do it custom.

$250 upcharge? So, they've got 2 molds for the bedsides now. One with and one w/o the logo. But, cost difference for them, after the initial mold, $0.

The was just regular Doug fir framing lumber. I try to support the nearest locally owned lumber yard/hardware store but at that price...no Vaseline...I'm gonna have to rethink that.

Since I still have my old wheels and tires sitting around for a few more days I decided to try to take a picture that would show the difference in sizes. The angle and my lack of photography skills doesn't really do it justice, but still kind of cool.

Visually there’s definitely more of a difference between the 315’s and the 37’s than I would’ve figured! They look awesome on the truck

@831Tun and I went down to Baja with the BK2BAJA crew last week. It was a great trip, but not for the faint of heart. You really need to be in tune with your truck and have some serious offroading experience under your belt. Long Travel isn't a stated requirement, but from my perspective is should be very high on the list of recommendations.
You will most likely break something, BK2BAJA has a mechanic and a chase truck with a trailer on the trip to cover most situations. The trailer got used by a 2019 Tundra that blew its transmission, I'm now in the camp of believing that transmission coolers are 100% necessary on Tundras. I blew an A/C line which couldn't be fixed during the trip, so I spent the last day on the trail without air conditioning, the mechanic had done the same thing the day before so I was in good company. I also now have the dreaded stuck fuel tank rollover valve which makes filling up at the gas station quite the event. We'll see if the repairs end up costing more than the trip.

Now that I think that I've sufficiently scared everyone, the trip was amazing and I'm looking forward to going back to Baja eventually.

Is the owner with the blown trans a member here? Maybe he could give some details about what happened and any follow up about what (if anything) Toyota is going to do about it?

I believe he's a member but not very active. It's generally best not to talk about potential causes until things have been worked out with insurance, Toyota or whoever.

Sure, that’s understandable. Not looking for speculation- there’s plenty of that on here! Just would be nice for someone who has actually had a trans failure to chime in on their experience from what happened at the time of the failure through the process of actual diagnosis to resolving the issue.

Looks like an awesome time by the way!
