That’s the way to do it. My mod budget is stalled with having to buy things like food and clothes for my kids. ;)

I checked the sway bar bolts and they fine. I think it was a combination of a bad picture and that the resi mount is sandwiched between the sway bar and frame. Good looking out though, I appreciate it.
while I had the truck pulled into the garage I chopped the tail pipe off. It isn't quite as high as I wanted, but it is pretty good considering I didn't drop the spare.

I've been procrastinating yard work, so I swapped out the Squadron brackets with the black powder coated ones that I've had sitting around.

Looks great. Which brackets are you using. (Spent time this morning looking at sdhq, Rago, and Caliraised.).

SDHQ. I had caliraised on my last truck and they were just as good. Joon has Rago I think.

Thanks. SDHQ are about double the cost of the Caliraised - just can see what double the cost gets ya.

They are pretty when you unbox them, but once they are on the truck you'll be hard pressed to figure out why they cost so much more. One thing I liked better about the Caliraised brackets is that they have holes to use for zip tying the cord to the bracket.

Good to know. The Caliraised are pretty new and I have not seen many reviews. Will see who has the best Black Friday sale (if I can wait that long - I have not added anything to my truck for some time and she needs some love. ;))

Good to know for me as well, I wasn’t happy with my Caliraised, they vibrate a lot, my lights are heavy though. Was gonna buy the SDHQ ones. My Caliraised have no holes for zip ties, and you have to remove both hinge bolts at once to install.

I have the new ones, it really sucks pulling both bolts, when you put the bracket on you can’t see any hinge witness marks. Makes it tough lining up the hood.

Here is an old picture. The Caliraised brackets I had are on the far right. They were easy to install.

If those are what they are selling now it is probably better for @sr5shark to look at one of the other options.

I've got Rago. They've got the holes/slots for zip ties. No complaints, installed 'em and never a second thought. I don't have heavy lights though, just BD Squadron's.

I had Stellarbuilt do some more work on my truck and as always, I'm really happy with the results.
New lights in the bumper, Baja Designs 30" OnX6+ bar and amber wide cornering Squadron Sports. Inspired by another member on here, I had them fabricate new side bumper panels with cutouts for the Squadrons and holes for the parking sensors.

Around back, they welded on some mounting points for more Baja Designs lights, amber S2 Sports and a dome light. Ham antenna mount welded onto the bed rack and custom low profile Jerry can holders bolted to the bed.

Also pictured, a nice little Tepui RTT that I threw up there a couple weeks ago. I'm looking forward to trying it out in Death Valley this weekend with the BASTRDS and SGU.

Yep. I saw on the Baja Designs website that they recommend spot for rear dust lights.
