These things drive me crazy:
-people who end every statement on a rising tone as if they were asking a question.
-people who say “yeah, no ...”. For the love of God, pick one!
-people who can’t get verb tenses right.
-people who correct others’ English and use incorrect English to do so.
-people who assume that just because one uses regional slang one can’t also speak proper English.

I've got a coworker who refers to a colum in Excel as a "callyoum". Drives me nuts, she also talks about her plants and says rouuts.

Growing up in South Arkansas and now living in the hills of North Arkansas, I've heard it all. A big difference is at home we say ya'll here they say younz. Ya'll have a good day vs Younz have a good day. Wtf is a younz I mean at least ya'll is an abbreviated version of you all but younz?

 

Walmarts lol! That sounds hispanic. Couple guys at work talk that way. We find it funny and joke with them about it. Hey man, are you going to have Mikes help you out with that? Go get the sawzalls.

 

I swear that if Walmarts was to blow up this town would go nuts, I mean there would be mass confusion and riots in the streets. We lost water in half the town one day because a contractor building a bank busted the main, newspaper article had to mention that Walmart was not affected. Ours is store #2 as we're only about 65 miles from Bentonville where corporate headquarters is. There are actually some very wealthy people here that were nothing but cashiers in the beginning but stock made them rich, now they're old or dead and grandson Billy is running around hillbilly rich.

At home "Alright now" was used as a greeting, for instance you come out da conna sto and see somebody you casually know first guy says "Alright now" second guy responds with "Hey now" and they keep going. Also "OK den" and "What you durin".

If I'm around my friends or wife I love saying "mu fuka main". Like "Hey I'ma fall off in this mu fuka main and get me sumtin to drank" or "Look at this mu fucka here main" even "go on and get one of them mu fukas main".
