That's the fix Sean! My wife thinks it's her new caddy and freaks out if I even talk about offroading. LOL

Not sure why your truck is going crazy. I could never go back to smaller tires on a lifted truck. My ODD would also not allow me to allow any lights on the dash haha

You mean OCD right? Lets see...ODD....I had something smart to say and my ADD kicked in. Maybe my trucks computer is OCD and ADD. The things are programmed by us flaky humans.

Sorry. Not sure how that one happened. Yes, OCD. I'm sure I was looking at ADD and for some reason, put ODD, lol!

Maybe it's a female and is indecisive. :notsure:

I don't like the lifted on little tires either. I kind of doubt discount will let me trade again. Not without it costing me a bunch.

Yeah, I'm going to call discount in the morning and tell them that the tire change didn't fix it and that I didn't spend $1250 to get stock looking tires. And the nittos f-ed up the trac.

Last time DT took great care of me, I wrote their corporate office a letter of accomadation. I let them know of my intent ahead of time ;)

Hmmm, I could tell them that. Although they did go above and beyond the 30's on the first set. 4 months. But I did tell them yesterday that I wasn't keen on going so much smaller. But I went ahead with it hoping for no more issues. I might have to talk to corporate and nitto about their tires jacking up the trac system. I'm out of the 3/36 because of age. Do you know if it is covered under the power train warranty?

Not sure, but you would need to be able to prove that issue for them to even remotely consider it

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. But if I have to I can bring it up to help get them to swap them out a third time I will. I've heard that just the E rated tires can be an issue with some of these trucks. Guy at discount said the terra grappler G2 has a lighter rating. Sean, aren't you running those?

I was running the G2's. Decent tires, but wasn't an aggressive enough look for me, and I went from 34.5" to 35" with Coopers

Are your coppers e rated. He's not positive, but Dave up here thinks that the load rating could have something to do with this crap. Maybe a d-rated would be better. These trucks should have been set up for e rated not p

Thanks Sean! Do like them, I was about to look at other options. I think I'd be happy with something around a 33.5 that would probably fill things out enough without going crazy with the trac situation.

Then my wife would complain about getting in and out. Otherwise, they would have been gone the day I brought it home! They look dorky and are like resonance chambers when stuff flies up. First time I drove it in the snow I thought something was wrong with the four wheel drive.LOL

Wait, you can't get your bigger tires back? If the smaller tires didn't fix it, you might as well go back to the larger tires.

E rated tires have not confused my "Trac" at all. Has nothing to do with it. I do know my larger 34.5" STT's make my speedo 3 mph higher across the board at whatever speed linear wise. I could spend the money to "calibrate" (and that's my line of work big time). Easier to subtract 3 than spend $400 to calibrate. No offense..Everything I'm reading above doesn't make sense. "Angry Nannies??" I agree with Viper...WTF? My sensitive bitch is my 11 year old Husky. ......Although our nannie controlled vehicle can cause the occasional problem.

I could see if they still have them. Problem with that is it seems like those tires caused the problem. So do I really want to put them back on. I'd be stuck with them for sure then.

Matt, my truck was fine until I put bigger tires on it. No, none of it makes any sense. That's the biggest problem, Toyota tech's aren't sure and saying that there is no way to adjust the system. I'm just frustrated and grasping at straws. Angry nannies was a feeble attempt to vent.

Amado..For sure a weird situation. Not doubting you at all. Believe me .. I've been venting lately. You have a very unusual sitution going on. Where I work it would be called an"intermittant issue". Intermittants are the hardest to narrow down.
