I called Toyota Financial to find out how to do it. I told them I was going to cancel it as I had paid to much. I also told them I was going to buy a longer service agreement. They were happy to cancel the old one. I did have to send a letter to Toyota Financial. Example of letter is shown here:

    Toyota Financial Services

    FAX Number: (319) 221-3066

    Date: July 05, 2018

Greetings To Whom It May Concern,

Please cancel my 8 year and 75,000 mile Vehicle Service Agreement.

    Agreement # 0000000

Vehicle is a 2018 Toyota Tundra 1794 4x4 pickup with a current odometer reading of 520 miles. VIN: 00000000000

Yeah especially if you tell them you are getting a different year mileage combination it seemed like no big deal. They can tell you right then how much you will get back

I just purchased a warranty from Jennifer. Great deal, paperwork came in the mail very quickly and my local dealer verified it was in their system. Best deal in town and great peace of mind! I recommend it!

I didn't purchase anything at the time I bought my truck. They kept calling me and harassing me so much I finally called someone to complain. I wasn't looking for anything but for them to stop calling. They gave me a free 7 yr/ 100k mile service plan. Who'd a thunk it.

When the finance guy was selling a maintenance package, I tough I was getting an extended warranty with it. When I got the paperwork a month and a half later, it was just fluids, oil, and tire rotation. I will definitely email Jennifer and get her advice on how to switch over. I was tired and hungry when I was agreeing with what he was selling me and I just want to leave and enjoy the truck. Now, did did throw in a bedrug and paid for the airbags to sweeten the deal.

My deal was a little different. I got 5years/100k for $700. I think she sells a 8year 125k for around 1550. I didn't see an unlimited year option on here sheet.

So, after reviewing my invoice, I saw that I paid $1998.00 for 120,000/72months bumper to bumper. And $2459.00 for maintenance for 70000/72months. I got F!! big time! On top of that they said if I put a lift/level kit, it will void my lifetime drive train warranty. Unless Toyota dealership performed the service. I still have to talk tot eh Service manager tomorrow to confirm. Level kit vs Lift?

    I'm so mad at myself.

    1. if the extended warranty is paid thru the loan, then the refund goes back to the bank
    2. if you pay for the extended warranty, you have to go back to the dealer you bought it from to process the refund paperwork, then toyota financial send you a check for the pro-rated amount based on time/mileage from when you bought the warranty
    3. 3rd party extended warranty is the biggest money maker for dealers, sometimes the kick back is 50% or higher to the dealer selling these. always go with a oem toyota vsa, you will get a booklet with your pertinent info on the front cover of the toyota logo booklet
    4. call around to other toyota dealers and see if they will price match or get pretty close, i know i drove 100 miles to get a 8/100k for $1350 on my 14 4runner, only $200 more than an out of state quote (this was after the crackdown on out of state sales on oem warranties for 4runners, see thread on T4R.org about the crack down)
    5. please dont post detail info/contacts about a dealer offering ext warranties, please do it via PM. this cause alot of 4runner dealers to get locked down by corporate toyota to no longer offer out of state warranty sales. alot of dealers were complaining about forums passing along a select few internet sales people under cutting dealers across the country
    6. also be mindful of ext warranty pricing inside of GST/SET since those are part of those regional financial arm, not part of toyota financial. those warranties are not valid outside of GST/SET regions and vice versa on toyota vsa inside of GST/SET regions (if i remember correctly)

only reason i am posting this is to make sure you folks dont get these wonderful helpful people getting a backlash from corporate toyota.

I visited the dealer today and demanded to give me the Toyota VSA and not a third party warranty. I mentioned to them that I was upset that they sold me a warranty 2x more than what Toyota is offering. Same goes with the maintenance agreement. He said he'll call the agent and get back with me. I am tempted to contact Toyota to share my dismay and unpleasant buying experience with the said dealership. I guess that's how he can afford a Rolex.

Yes, do not ruin a good thing. We do not want the good get punished, because of others bad business practices.

A month goes by, no toyota paperwork. Call dealer, salesman says, "ohh you bought a 3rd party warranty". Umm no, the only warranty discussed was a Toyota one (which now explains why it was unlimited time/100k miles).

So reading the "contract" which coincidentally lacks my signature, I have 60 days to cancel. "Premier Essential" says it's not in their system and to call dealer. Dealer wont answer phone or return calls. Finally blew up the lines to get a human on the phone. What a nightmare this has been!
